A dictator, goes up against a monster

There's no prep time valid, the two are bloodlusted for eachother, and this is full on 1-B Hevel, the Flood is restricted.

I don't know where the SCP tale these two are portrayed in is located, all I know is that the story is in a higher dimensional reality, so I'll just say the battle takes places within a Paradox.

The Koitern (SCP-173) - 8

Hevel-Ab-Leshal (SCP-076) - 0

Inconclusive - 0

Preeeeeetty suure Koitern would beat Ab, it did commit genocide on 1/3 of the levithan army, Ab's 1-B form declares him as a monster right? If Koitern can kill multiple monsterous levithans, than he can get Ab.

Yeah, Koitern was a beast way before he became a statue.

Voting for the 173 for Zoxiver's reasons.

How did Koitern do this? Did he have a weapon or what?

He's just like the original SCP-173. He literally waged genocide by what SCP-173 would do to harm people.

Well, whatever the Higher-Dimensional Analogue of "neck" is, yes, i guess he could break it

I thought the higher dimensional versions of them were just like humans that were higher dimensional.

Yes. But I hope SCP Foundation won't be like that. Personally, making these beyond comprehendable entities resemble something that is basically an overpowered human is something that the fanbase and it's moderators have been trying to avoid for years. It was the reason why many old SCPs were deleted for being in this cliche mold of a bunch of gary stue characters that fit more in line with Comic Book characters rather then the Lovecraftian mysteries that most SCPs desired to achieve and maintain.

By making most of them fit into this mold, you get rid of that mystery and ruin the fear factor to an extent.

As a comic book reader, I don't mind that stuff, but for the SCP Foundation I expect something a little different and more original. I know people complain about how strict the site is and THEY ARE STRICT. Some really good concepts are thrown away for lacking 'originality' or polishness and that's a bit sad but they do this to prevent stuff from coming in that began plaguing the site back at around 2010 and 2011. A lot of guys were just the same archetypes being used over and over again. Hell, if you ask me, the amount of SCPs they have that are just humanoid reality warpers is already enough. But if they add more then who am I to complain.

Really, it's not like if it's revealed that all these SCPs who existed before looked exactly the same back then as they do now is going to ruin it for me because A. That would be stupid and B. There's no real Canon to the SCP Foundation and you can pretty much follow your own headcannon. Plus, stuff like the Scarlet King being the Father of 682 and SCP-999 isn't even really that widely accepted by the majority oft the community. Does that make it non-canon? Again no, if that's what the reader wants to believen then they can believe it.

For me though, if the author does decide to go into that route and make these SCPs literal Umineko style characters then I'll say that that's a pretty big dissapointment. I'd rather keep it ambigious or talk about them looking different since it was a different plane of Existence they all lived in right? You're telling me Koitern looks exactly the same after his reality shifted? Lol.

I can see what you mean. SCP was originally a verse consiting over horror stories and anomalous creatures that sought to exile of a mankind. Bringing in the higher dimensional aspect to SCP is out of the blue, I mean, it went from horror stories to some higher dimensional anime stuff, which seems kind of random.

And you have to admit, seeing SCP-173 as 1-B is kind of weird NGL but, i made this thread regardless anyways.

@Dreaming Serpent

Well, then i present you (but you likely already knows about that one so... eh) to my least favorite 001 Proposal that basically says that all SCPs, including the ones related to Sarkicism / The Scarlet King are creations of Mad Scientists. ovo

On a serious note, there are a few implications that well... everything is canon in the Foundationverse, given that there are higher-dimensional entities who transcend a composite hierarchy and are meant to represent the authors of the site

Yes I do know. It's a good read. And while I don't mind the entire series having a lynchpin tying it together, I think what's good about the series is that lot of its vagueness allows us the reader to fill in the blanks for ourselves. And personally I do not subscribe to that theory at all. And this is coming from a guy who prefer the SCP-001 Warehouse Origin (As well as the Broken God one)

I should correct what I said in the sense that there is canon and that it's highly malleable. And I understand the hierarchy perfectly well. No complaint here.

I'm just sharing my opinion that I think 173 being the exact same thing he was BUT STRONGER is a little... odd. For all we know, Koitern could have looked completely different this form he has now which is obviously a Shadow of his former strength many only represent a fraction of what his true being and power must be.

For my money, he must have looked much different. Formless or definitely more difficult to comprehend then his current tiny armed form.

I will say that throughout all the theories I've read about SCP-173, I never thought I'd see the day where he'd actually have a name. My headcannon assumed he was either an Alien/Extradimensional Entity that existed in a Universe where sight was not a concept or was a once powerful force that is contained with the body of Golem. I guess the latter kind of works with that theory. No complaint on giving him a name though. It's definitely something that at least gives more of an identity.

I will say this though. If it DOES turn out that all and I mean ALL the SCPs are created by Scientists then that would be pretty lame. That's like finding out the Mutants from Marvel were all created by scientists like they were the Ultimate Universe. Yes, it's an explanation but it's also one that didn't need to be. Or how the Alien Xenomorphs were created by David.

Yes, i agree, i always have found this proposal of 001 to be a little... off for this very reason

Because it basically takes all of the mystery, all of the "eldritchness" of the SCPs, as well as the fact that they are possibly things that humans cannot comprehend, and throws them out of a window

..So essentially, SCP-173 has his powers but on a multi-dimensional scale versus all of the powers Ab still has? My vote, oddly enough, goes towards Able. He's got experience, and a more diverse set of useful skills. I think it would be hugely difficult for him, but still.
