TG: Kakuja's multiplier

A follow-up to the previous topic.

This time, I'd like to discuss the Quinx.

The Quinx's kakuhou is limited to five frame levels, each of which unlocks 20% of the kakuhou's power. This is designed to moderately control the kakuhou's power without turning a person into a ghoul or altering their physiology.

As we can see from this panel, the kakuhou's power level increases linearly as frames are removed (English version).

Dr. Shiba says that with the second frame, the kakuhou operates at 40%: "Currently, everyone's Gate is set to F2.
The operating rate of the kakuhou is 40%."

In Japanese, we have "「赫包」の稼働率は," which refers specifically to "efficiency/work percentage," followed by the conclusion "より強力な赫子が使えるというワケですね" or "So raising the Frame level gives you access to a more powerful kagune," which leads us to the simple conclusion that increasing the kakuhou's efficiency is equivalent to strengthening the kagune.

When all 5 frames are removed, the quinx transforms and loses control, becoming a kakuja. In other words, increasing the kagune's power and RC cell coefficient by 5x activates the kakuja.
From this, we can simply conclude that the kakuja is at least a 5x multiplier.

By the way, the half-kakuja should receive half of this multiplier, since it represents 50% of the development.

It looks logical and straightforward enough. Frames are tied to the operation of the kakuhou. Kakuhou are tied to the RC cell coefficient. The RC cell coefficient is tied to the strength and size of the kagune. So a 5× increase in kakuhou performance = a 5× increase in kagune power → a 5× multiplier.

It's worth noting that the frames keep the RC level from spiking suddenly, so that the Quinx doesn't turn into a ghoul. Raising the RC level leads to the formation of a kakuja. We saw this with Amon and Kaneki, when their cannibalism led to a kakuja. And specifically in Amon's case, he turned into a kakuja as soon as the RC suppressant stopped working. In his research, Kanou also noted that the growth of RC cells contributes to kakuja formation.

So if a 5× increase in kakuhou operation leads to a stronger kagune and the formation of a kakuja, then the multiplier is as simple as it gets.

Although I liked the previous version more.

Nice, straightforward. Urie going from Frame 3 to 4 makes him vastly stronger to the point where he starts losing his mind. And as you sent, going to Frame 5 turns him in a Kakuja, which is typically achieved through consuming so much other ghouls that you're RC levels spike causing a mutation, so consistent increase in power.

I think for untranslated scans ur suppose to get a translation helper to look at it and give you a translation to use (otherwise the mods won't take this).

I just love the unsettling way ishida designs kaneki while using his kakuja. The distorted dialogue in tandem with the creepy mosquito looking face (even though it's supposed to be a centipede him being a mosquito is sorta my personal head cannon) really makes him look insane.

The English translation is exactly the same. I just thought using the Japanese version made more sense.
