According to the article, a T-Rex would walk at 10-15 mph, which translates to 4.5-6.7 m/s, Normal Human.

So how could it ever catch anything?. I guess the others were just paralized with fear because if they took off the T rex not catching anything.

@Lord

Well, not to sound snarky, but I don't have a time machine to find out.

We're making hypotheses based on the most recent data, and this is always subject to change.

You didn't sound snarky and I understand that things are subject to change.

It's just wired.

There are quite a lot of paleontologist who think that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was a scavenger, so it could be that it wasn't a hunter as much as something that scared the actual hunter to steal the food. So speed wouldn't be needed all that much

For how T.rex would hunt I would assume it would either ambush its prey, or its prey with just as slow. Juvenilles were likely faster.

I am fine with if somebody wants to adjust its speed. Just make sure to include the link from the first post.

Thank you. I will close this thread then.
