Common prey animal : 7

Fight takes place in the great barrier reef, 20 centimetres apart
I probably shouldn't equalize speed

So while looking at images of a peeper, I noticed that they have a beak. Most beaked fishes typically prey on shellfish or hard objects like corral. And while that's usually a great survival strategy since they can't fight back, what if... they can

While the spiked boi will last awhile it can’t really fight back against the much larger peeper. This doesn’t mean the peeper is getting away scott free since I doubt he’s not getting poked with the spines however the peeper has a functioning brain and would try to attack a weak point with fewer spikes. I’m voting for the peeper.

Well, I kinda agree with this, but Peeper has a big wekness, his big eye, if a spike penetrate It I don't think Peeper can fight hunt the sea Urchin sinse would be basically blind

I may vote incon for now, or the Peeper just is able to dodge the bigger spikes and eat the Urchin by It's weker point or poke his big Eye with a spike and is blinded to death

I mean it should be able to tell how close the spikes are to its eye but yeah, if it makes a wrong move or position, it would get stabbed and due to a lack of sea urchins in Subnautica, I think I can safely say that Peepers don't have the experience and slipping up is fully possible

A wincon for the urchin, thank goodness. I was worried if this is viable

The Red Sea Urchin has High-Low Regeneration, so wouldn't it be capable of regenerating from the peepers attacks? Also the Red Sea Urchin is completely covered in spikes, which is going to make it extremly difficult for the peeper to damage it without getting stabbed itself.

How powerful is High-Low Regen? If the Peeper can manage to bite off all of the former's spikes faster than it can regen, the Peeper has a good chance at winning this fight. If not, the Peeper likely accidently stabs itself to death from trying to attack the Urchin.

Well... Sinse the Urchin is a real life being It's non combat applicable thanms to how slow It is

Your question has been answered
Yes it has.

In that case, the peeper could bite off the Urchin's spikes, pretty much removing the latter's only way of harming the peeper. Peeper will likely get stabbed a few times, but I don't think it will take too long before the peeper manages to bite off the Urchin's spikes and kill it from there.
