Tempting though it may be, if I go in 1 I don't think I'm leaving the plane in 1 piece (get it? (not the pirate anime))

2 just seems like I'm in the middle of two angry gorilla's.

3 honestly isn't bad at all, Zombieman is nice and chill, would probably just talk to me, and CE is cool.

I'd love sitting next to TTM, but Drive Knight would kinda creep me out. Granted, he wouldn't bother me since I'm just a nobody so not the worst seat.

5 sounds fine and being near Saitama effectively means I'll definitely get off okay, plus there's some fodders there who are about the only people I could relate to. And Mumen Goat is in the row next over.

6 sounds okay so long as I just keep my mouth shut and stick to myself.

7 isn't that bad, Amai is pretty chill with normal people so long as they don't excessively bother him. And if I was a fan of him in this universe he might even be nice. 8 is about the same but a bit safer.

Sitting next to Pig God wouldn't be much different from a previous flight experience I've had, but considering how nice he is I bet he'd even talk to me and offer me some food.

Darkshine I wouldn't mind either. He's very chill and would probably give me great workout advice.

9 honestly isn't THAT bad. Garou doesn't have any interest in hurting random's, plus this is current Garou who is in the middle of a redemption arc, at most if I annoyed him he'd probably tell me to shut up.

10 is fine, Mumen Rider is nice and would talk to me, One Shotter is chill too.

Out of all the seats, it's between 3 and 5 for me but I pick 5. That's the calmest area with the most people I could actually have a conversation with, plus the strongest MF on Earth is right there so I'm safe, and most importantly you have to consider the part of getting OFF the plane. I don't wanna have to stand in front of people that could kill me by breathing too hard in a line, nor keep Zombieman and CE waiting because I'm too scared to get in the way.

Considering Silver Fang is right beside him Garou is the one who has to be afraid about being rude to someone, Bang would smack his head in a heartbeat.

Anyways as for the new chapter;

Tbh, despite the valid criticisms I'm just happy with it. Like I do find it a good bit disappointing that after EVERYTHING we saw last year, it gets thrown away and the story absolutely shifts with EV simply getting one-shot like the webcomic. I think EV will still become a plot relevant character but him getting no-diffed off-screen is so disappointing. BUT, like I said, I'm still happy with it because we also just got something NEW and refreshing. Plus as long as Murata doesn't do another loop, we're finally getting into new territory.

So I have an idea as to what these things are.

"I've wandered too far from my post..."

Blast saying this implies that the appearance of these creatures is a result of his time on Earth. Considering that previously Blast has been shown appearing seemingly after a battle in the MA arc, I would bet that these creatures are created by God, and that there's many of them being made all the time. Blast and his crew are probably constantly fighting these things in another dimension all the time, which is why Blast is never around on Earth even when major threats like Psykorochi appear. Most likely, if he were to stop handling the issue, I imagine these things would invade Earth and ravage it. I'm already wondering how they would fare against the S-Class.

Saitama saying that, combined with Rover reacting to the creatures and having a little beam struggle with them, makes me wonder if Rover is connected to God.

My prediction is that Saitama does his thing and defeats these creatures with ease, which causes Blast to try recruiting him.

By the way, THE SIGN BELOW EMPTY VOID SAYS "EDEN" ON IT.

THEORY TIME!!! 🔥🔥🔥

The "Gate of the Heavenly Rock Cave" is only accessible via EV, and Blast needs to turn EV over to their side so as to reach God. EV needs to defend it. So, the "Gate of the Heavenly Rock Cave" is basically the Garden of Eden, which is where God and his perfect creations reside, untainted by humanity and sin, and EV represents the archangel Uriel, the protector of the garden and its divine knowledge.

Remember as well that we know from webcomic info that Monster's only began emerging after World War 3. So my theory is that God is literally God and only started to hate humanity after seeing how many mistakes they've made over their existence, he's now given up on humanity and is attempting to destroy them. But Blast and his team are the resistance against this. This is consistent with everything else we've learned about God so far.

But what if It was attack potency
I mean, you'd have to prove that. It could just be standard dimensional travel powers.

I think EV will still become a plot relevant character but him getting no-diffed off-screen is so disappointing
Ngl after Cosmic Garou and Void I think Murata is just to deep in power scaling brain rot for his own good. EV being one shot off screen is basically the best solution at this point because EV vs Blast was never going to be good or satisfying in my view.

Cosmic Garou has similar flaws but at least it had story beats and emotional build up to it which wasn't present here. Overall this is just the better story direction.

the standard dimensional travel powers (in this verse)it using portals...not opening a hole in reality.

just remind you, it is One the one (hahaha)who decided to put the multiverse in versus and in Bug ego, it was not Murata, it is also One.

You see reality open and it's not shattered like Saitama's mental punch. There's just no AP feat here currently.

Rover being connected to God could make sense, in the MA we already had 3 notable monsters connected to God and even Black Sperm is arguably another one because of this panel

As for your take on God, that seems to be completely correct it's the same conclusion Psykos and Homeless Emperor reached which God seemed to validate.

Not really clear to me if ONE completely dropped the whole "Celestial Rock Cave" plot point yet, we'll have to see but good eye on noticing the "Eden" thing

Personally I don't mind Void being one-shotted, I'm more interested in seeing how ONE looks to conclude the arc for Flashy, Sonic and the Tenninto. He introduced this whole "power to live freely" theme and how not even one of the Ninjas can grasp the concept due to the horrible conditions of the Village so I assume that's where the ending for them is leading at.

Having Boros as the new member of Blastvengers would honestly be a cool idea, assuming he regains his consciousness. I’d also like to see what his connection with Boris is and how they would interact upon seeing each other. They might be siblings

Boros can’t join blast crew as he’s not capable of manipulating space time which is the requirement

Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected this amount of copium. I quite frankly can't see the bottom of it. We may have to calc it as infinite.

This thread was once a fun thing to engage with, when there remained some semblance of care and attention for the lore at large. For the harder to spot details.

In reality? Most of it quickly devolves into power and feat related acts of desperation and frustration. This no "scaling". This is "power gooning".

My respect if there ever was any, is gone.

Oh I forgot about BS.

Basically, and don't forget Vaccine Man. Tbh I feel like Vaccine Man ties it up so perfectly. The first Monster we ever see in the series being implied as connected to HE through the energy they use, and therefor God, and saying he was made by mother Earth to destroy the parasite that is humanity just...like that is so perfectly written and everyone should know about it because it deserves proper respect lol. I just wonder if it originally meant nothing and ONE was simply connecting it to a larger plot he thought of later or if this plot was by design from chapter 1.

He might've but probably not. I think all of that stuff still exists in this rewritten version, but the events changed significantly.

Hopefully something well-rounded and thought out and not just "Tennito dies/leaves and everyone goes on with their lives".

Who are you lil buddy I've legit never seen you before in my life I swear 😭😭🙏

I don't see Boris or Beast King being able to manipulate spacetime like Blast does. The only requirement you probably need is to be really strong. And I just can't see ONE reviving Boros just to kill him again, especially seeing how the likeable villains in Mob Psycho turn out after being defeated by the MC, like Teruki and Toichiro. Heck, just look at Garou.

Then maybe you aren't paying attention

It was literally stated you need to be able to manipulate space time otherwise it doesn’t matter how strong you are

Those dimensional fighters can indeed manipulate space time the beast king was one of the ones who managed to divert the serious punch clash which wasn’t done through physicals but hax so they clearly have hax

Only Blast is stated to be able to manipulate spacetime and has made direct contact with God. No one else has.

Care to elaborate? How did you come to the conclusion that what they did was through hax and that it has to do with spacetime manipulation? I feel like my brain's going to explode trying to make sense of this argument

The exact words are no you can’t help because you need the ability to manipulate space time dawg which leads into genos telling them how saitama manipulated time

Ughhh because physicals don’t allow you to contain shockwaves nor allows you to teleport it deep into space lol nothing they did could possibly involve physicals it’s like saying the seal blast put around the shockwaves were his physicals

It doesn’t matter if it was space time manipulation it shows the beast king dude has hax just like blast meaning by extension he has space time manipulation since he’s apart of the crew he’s not just some random brick who’s strong

Like I don’t get what’s so hard to believe blast isn’t the only character with hax in OPM we are flat out told the only way to join the fight against GOD is if you can manipulate space time

He didn’t get promoted to S-Class even after the S-Class witnessed him defeating Garou in the WC, what makes you think they’ll do it now in the manga?
I mean he fodderized someone who fodderizes all of the S class -blast so why would he not be promoted? What does it take to become s class?

also void is strong enough to join blast fight against GOD honestly I don’t get why blast hasn’t tried to recruit saitama yet when he fits all the requirements strength + space time manipulation
