I mean the biggest example of this is Saitama. He was always stronger than normal people and after training becomes the strongest.

Wasn’t there a statement about how there were going to be anime orginal things ? Was there anything original?
You mean this season? I actually haven't heard of this. All I know is that, according to the s3 intro, the Orochi vs Saitama fight will have Orochi's original condensed transformation and God's altar. Plus the leaked images of the CE fight have pre-retcon content (like CE's Brave Giant hat). Is that what you mean? If it's something else it's news to me and it sounds pretty unlikely, if I'm honest.

They've already cut like 2 episodes worth of content in order to avoid animating moments like Royal Ripper's violent introduction, so it seems unlikely they will add in much more when they only have four episodes left and two presumably huge fights left as well as SO many s-class vs demons + cadres interactions.

Not really. There is a few but not really relevant.

Here if you want.
I am actually very excited for this. It has been 6 YEARS since we've learned anything major about the verse through out-of-verse statements. If the Cadre compus provides a little bit of clarification on any topics about how they get their powers, what their strength levels are, perhaps we can answer some of the many questions we've had since 2019.

Yeah. I hope we get more context as to who Gouketsu was referring to when he said that there were many monsters in the association just as strong as he was.

Imo, it definitely won't be referred at all. G5 laser mention is possible, i'd like to hear more about spirit world though.

Well...

Powers are either genetic or assigned by fate. I prefer genetics because Blast + Blue, Tatsumaki+ Fubuki, Suicho+ Suiryu + Suiko, Bang + Bomb + they come from a long line of martial artists, Metal Bat and Zenko.

I think that's enough examples without any other proof to say that powers can be inherited. But we have a statement on this specific question from Dr. Genus in chapter 88 when he talks about the limiter...

"The heroes who wield power great enough to confront [monsters] were originally born with enough potential to become that strong, and eventually obtained their power through talent or hard work. Others obtained special abilities by mechanizing their body or through human experimentation... Yet there are those who could've been born with genius intellect like myself or esper powers."

So there you go. It's genetic potential that needs to be trained. There's no way that Suicho+Suiryu+Suiko don't have a superhuman strength gene while most people can train for years and not even qualify for c-class (Webigaza and Sekingar). Likewise, Bang and Bomb's Dad had superhuman genes, Pig God's Mom had the power to inspire the most potent "YO MOMMA SO FAT" jokes the world has ever imagined and so on.

In Blast's specific case, we learn in the retconned chapters that Blast is working with a 'scientist' and Sitch before he met Empty Void. IMO Blast has Superpower genetics, magically bestowed powers (from some cosmic source), and special technology that channels these abilities.

Blue can tango with demon levels naturally (no limiter release, no energy beams) and is super inexperienced. That's pure genetics, and there likely is some energy projection ability since both of them have the swirly eyes and ring hands as I've pointed out. Unless Blast's scientist only used that technology twice and then died I don't see why only a father and son would have both of those abilities.
ngl its all about mentality at the end , like glasses was a nobody and after he changed his mentality he went from fodder to already as strong as an A class in the span of like a month or so.

same with darkshine fans who might be training to be like darkshine and they are also very strong

I mean it was explicitly explained that everyone is born with different Limiters, with those in the S Class fated to reach such levels of strength if they put themselves through the training to do so. Everyone in the OPM verse can break their Limiter if they try hard enough and don't kill themselves or monsterize in the process.

I am happy that is adapted the pre redraw version. Child Emperor deservers the respect.

They won't adapt the whole pre-redraw but at most the initial part. This is because if they did the pre-redraw they would go against the canon version of the manga and therefore against the work of One and Murata and it would create problems in the plot, namely Saitama who, not being there, will not be able to help Child Emperor bring Waganma back to the surface since it is thanks to Saitama that they manage to get to the surface without problems and the issue of the ninjas who remained monsters in the pre-redraw in addition to the development of the character of Child Emperor and his relationship with Zombieman etc. not to mention the fact that the scene of the Millennium Emperor nova practically leads a hero to want to return home and yada yada
and the question of Phoenix space and disguises that involves characters like WDM and which could lead to future plot points

I guess they could adapt the entire fight, have Phoenix man survive, then do the Zombieman stuff and have Saitama get them out. Let's see, it's only a few hours.

It also hints for Saitama liking dogs

but not only if you remove the post redraw versions you also remove one of the underdog men who survived against G5 who will be vital for Isamu's survival when he sees the huge sphere of Homeless emperor coming towards him

They said the story will be "unique" with a setting for it's own, so they'll probably handle those moments differently as well.

Kinda? Glasses is breaking his limiter, he's already moved past his genetic cap, which was much easier for him than it would be for someone like Bang or Flashy since their limits are so insanely high you have to try that much harder.

Saitama, although limiter removal even for a wolf level guy is SUUUUPER hard, still had an easier time than those above him would have. Seems like most people don't train to get close to their genetic limit, and only three people (that we know of) have gone past their initial genetic limit (Saitama, Garou, Glasses, Orochi maybe but he was already a monster so hard to say).

I think it's far more likely that people that train that way end up as a monster or die from overexertion than go from b-class to a-class

well...at least we'll have the timeframes for the scale and anime profiles which are at least a small consolation I think...

This upcoming episode really made me pay attention to all the details in the OP to see what’s going to get cut and what isn’t.

No I think there will be because the intro shows the altar of God and also because that section of the manga is very important so what will come next
if they make the millennium emperor nova I want to see some calculations because I'm curious to know what it will be like... are there any calculations of the millennium emperor nova already done with the scenes from the manga?
