It is not a portal, you are trying to hard to say it is a portal, but we know Void does not use portals to go to the hyperspace
Again, him entering the hyperspace and him using DS are not the same. It's not like a door where both ways you enter it result in the door being open and shut.

Because It is teleportation, how can Blast react to a literal teleportation but can't do it against DS?
EV didn't teleport yet dude.
When i said seemingly universal distance, i meant this page. "but once its inside the Universe" well it is intervining from the "outside", the sword is still at the hyperspace (as long as it doesn't fully enter) since Empty Void is the one moving it while not entering the dimension.
By that same line of thinking though, why doesn't EV just instantly move his blade across and get the job done with???
Which Genos described as divergence of the timelines. Those past events are the diverged timelines in bubbles
No. Genos describes it as a "POSSIBLE FUTURE". ONE future, not multiple.

what are you talking about him getting pulled out can’t be through a portal because he didn’t enter a portal to get there there is no portal that’s head canon why would he open himself a portal to let himself get dragged out?

So what youre saying is that entering realspace strips away all the other properties of hyperspace from the sword, specifically only leaving size changing and space cutting effects... the very effects that are being powered by the swords connection to hyperspace?
touché

He didn't dude. I'm not saying he does. the blade cut open a hole in SPACE to make the blade travel to that location swiftly.

They are the same thing, both require a Hand sign (the hand signs Void uses allow him to intervine from the OUTSIDE).

Proof? Because the blade ignores distance it doesn’t need to cut open some magical hole that isn’t there it just teleports there there has never been any stated portal or hole especially one that allows him to be pulled out form hyperspace

I'm saying the "ignore distance" part is when it descends from the higher dimension, because duh. However, we see that a hole in the air opens up from the blade. We know thats a hole because of the fact that the lines coming from that twinkle in the sky indicate him falling a MUCH shorter but still long distance from the air and not from outerspace

EV doesnt need a portal to enter the hyperspace because he doesnt CUT through space to do that, he just leaves the universe. Theres nothing preventing him from doing that when he does that technique

We didn’t see a hole that’s just your goofy ahh lowball interpretation

expect for your interpretation is head canon try again

He used the hand signs. which is how his teleportation happens, look at his body as well, it was teleporting

No. That one was about which timeline this core came from, he says "one of the countless timelines diverged because of your actions" and "no matter how near infinite parallel worlds are there".

He does though, Blast stops it everytime. Everytime Blast used his teleportation which Void claims Blast can't evade it without his sphere type teleportation. even though he can even react to his teleportation speed which should be instant.

That is true, however: the next panel where we see the twinkle suggests that EV comes FROM that as a type of portal.
There are probably some sort of portals (not like Blast portal or anything, but more like this but invisible) in that twinkle/direction, but the twinkle represents not the portal, but the incoming attack itself.

I didn't notice that detail actually. Fair, I concede on this point.

Yes, because theres infinite possibilities that happen because of anybody's actions in OPM, including Saitama. However this isn't relevant to the events that Genos and Saitama saw, and Genos wouldn't know this context of the multiverse when he only experienced one timeline. Like he said, its merely a hypothesis based on knowledge he himself learned.

hm... I'll consider this some more ngl.

You know what. You would think Murata would include an image of him falling through space if that is what happened. But no. The series of events only ever implies a shorter distance. The lack of gravity would've interfered with his fall by the time he leaves the higher dimension, depending on when he let go of the swords.

As for why, I don't know. Maybe he didn't have time to draw all that and was rushing the chapter.

Finally, somebody gets it.

We don't know why he didn't do that if the space fall interpretation is correct, but we can't just go around assuming stuff. yknow?

Genos was referring to his time travel that caused the divergence. not "everyone's action creates timelines etc etc" type of, but how saitama himself diverged it. Considering the bubble universes, which is shown here and how it's god power as well.

honestly, Garou didnt want to kill anyone.

He just got too corrupted
I agree. Like I stated before, God's influence makes it's avatars want to annihilate the human race, as they all seem to think of humans as "parasites" to nature and earth. So, when Garou took that power, even if he could resist it better than anyone else, he still ended up acting in a reckless manner that resulted in humanity becoming extinct (or almost extinct, considering Blast and Saitama were still alive by the end of it). Everytime Saitama hits him with punches, he seems to wake up more and more.. which is eventually shown by his mask cracking and revealing his real face.

based on the lack of any disagreements, EVERYONE agrees with my theory right?
I guess people are doubting the speed of the swords because Flashy and Blast reacted to them, but we know both had contact with God, which means they can now sense God's power. Blast, who is more attuned to God's power, could sense the slash before it even happened.

So, these two reacting does not mean it's not instant or something like that. It could have been represented better, I agree.. maybe Murata didn't give it much thought. In 30 years we will know, once this scene gets animated. Or maybe it will be changed once it comes out on a volume, as it usually happens.

He's certainly got the matching m.o.

He would do something like that wouldn't he? Get excited and high on power and then pull stupid stunts.

That's actually a good interpretation that could be backed up by Bang destroying his mass, which ended up waking his human consciousness.

fair enough. but thats kinda what im trying to say.

Genos refers to a single timeline (time travel) that caused the parallel timeline from the main one. But his multiverse theory was simply a hypothesis.

the stuff we see in that time travel isn't even other worlds tbh

What is with the sudden surge of new accounts in this thread
I have been lurking for a long while. I have been following this series since 2016. I read through the start and end of the MA arc, went through the absurd amount of redraws that arc had, since I caught up everytime a new chapter came out. I also participated a bit in Reddit discussions.. but I am more experienced in the lore than powerscaling. Just got interested in powerscaling recently.. so I created this account.

Don't get too deep into this power scaling for your own good
