Yeah. It was one of the feats people thought would prove the 7-B Genos thing wasn't an outlier but it didn't pull good results

I wouldn't say he tanked anything impressive. Psykos explicitly said to not kill him. So any of Orochi's attacks were intentionally limited to make sure Garou didn't die. Scaling him AP or durability wise is pretty bad because of that.

Well, the point is that if you go by Gouketsu's description of Orochi, the monster king is leagues above him, and after seeing the difference between Bakuzan and him Im prone to believe that Orochi is to Gouketsu what Gouketsu is to Bakuxan. And that's why I think that tanking anything from Orochi, even if not serious, is enough to tank Gouketsu's attack.

The thing is, all scaling is just bunk because we know Orochi is explicitly holding back against Garou and there's no impressive feats (for Garou's tier) to warrant a upgrade. Getting beat into near-death by someone explicitly not trying to kill you isn't a feat for anything but endurance.

Yeah Orochi was explicitly holding back. The only thing his bout with Orochi adds is more proof that he had reached dragon level at this point.

"Is he really dead...?"

Would be a good setup for Orochi to surprise attack Tatsu instead of how the webcomic played out and I fully expect her to get blindsided in a future chapter by the Big Boi if he regens to have her get a head injury.
If he does have that sort of anti dying evolution hax then he might need to get fully vaped or something.
