No, he couldn't.

You don't understand how many stackable passives there are that make people love it.

You could litirally kill someones entire family in a slow and painful way in front of them and they would still become flirty while their family is dying around the sim.

Which is quiet a bit, was pointed out in the thread with them against Giorno, and several other places.
 
Ah I see. Charisma isn't passive mindhax tho and it wouldn't work on people that don't feel attractiveness.
 
And anything that is capable of liking anything would be affected, regardless of sexuality.

Which DIO definitly has.
 
Asexual plants? And unless there's something supernatural to it and it's not just "my charisma stat is very high" there's no reason to assume it will work on literal psychopaths or something along those lines.

Asexual plants. You can't havce Woohoo in sims 2 (or was it 3?) as a plant sim, only being able to make kids with spores.

You still get affected.


And... families litirally dying in front of you, crazy being an aribute you can have and criminal being a job you can master, and psychopaths not being uncapable of emotions makes that idea very flimsy.
 
I agree but there's no need for it to have a separate page since it's basically passive mindhax, what I'm asking is if that's the case with the sim?

Being a plant doesn't make it asexual or not capable of emotion in the game tho considering you can mate with it and apparently have babies with it, unless there's proof saying that it is?

And families dying infront of you, having a crazy atribute and a job as a criminal doesn't make you a psychopath, and they don't have most emotions considering they lack parts of their brain that give them those emotions, so if it has something supernatural about it or if it has displayed it on someone like that then yeah great, if not there's no reason to assume it is considering from what I can tell it's just a "really op stat".

Also, the idea that Psychopaths are unable to get attached to something emotionally is simply wrong.

The closest thing to it is sociopaths, but they would be vegetals if their brain were litirally unable to simulate emotions.
 
It's not an idea they literally lack parts in their brain that make them feel certain emotions. Having an attachement to something may be possible, it's mostly a case by case basis, but even then it's usually just condisioning not actual emotion.

Sociopaths and psychopaths are kinda a tricky and very hard to define both of them have anti-social personality desorder, altho sociopaths have been shown to be compulsive, which may mean something, or not, these aren't that well researched considering how hard it is to examine them.
 
But they still have emotions, because lacking every part of the brain that gives em to you is going to leave you brain dead in the best case scenario.
 
Well not really it's not that simple, this is a much more complicated subject, I'm just simplifying it.

Regardless of that, DIO is an asshole, he has no more mental problems and missing brain pieces than any normal antaggonist in fiction does, and he is not resisting something on the level of what the Sim has.

Also, "passive charisma" makes absolutely no sense since you would have to actually talk and express your emotions to be charismatic.
 
I don't know whether or not Dio would resist it. I was just saying it's not passive mindhax unless it has displayed something supernatural about it that would be actually affecting the mind, rather than it being a very strong charisma stat.

There were 1 or 2 threads about giving Dio Mind-hax resistance.

Then again, his powers were capable of corrupting several people throughout the multiverse...

I know there was a thread about it giving him resistance because of the Holy Corpse but I don't think it has been acepted.
 
It's because Jojo upgrade/downgrade threads tend to go absolutely nowhere unless there are multiple staff members there.

1. How many times do people have to say "Cain's condition was decided to be outside help" for you to get that?

2. John moving him to another place several thousand KM away, without harming him in the process, results in a win for the former. Because he's not trying to hurt him.

And he will do that in-character, because the moment he opens his third eye, he'll see the gigantic, god-level curse that's surrounding Cain. Like numerous other curses he has managed to detect with said third eye throughout the series, just by opening it.

John is also...not the only Tier 9 character in his series with Tier 1 stuff. Take that however you will.
 
Again, did that thread ever get made?

Because considering Cain's abilities as outside help would mean that his inconclusive against Yakou Madara would need to be erased.
