Hm I am speculating here so don't really mind me but I feel like Akuma is made to fight Ingrid at full power light vs darkness thing again because akuma can lose himself in oni form and their fight probably would be chaotic I really hope that happens in a canon SF :d

It is stated in the Street Fighter Encyclopedia that she is a messanger from the stars and the capcom encyclopedia says that she fights with sunlight.

That would only prove Ingrid's attack speed (as in the speed of her projectiles) is light speed, not her. Being a messanger from the stars does not mean light speed either.

I have no real issue with Ingrid being extremely faster/quicker than all other SF characters, I have a big problem with scaling a character to their projectile speed though.

The thing is that Ingrid time travels through flight in her Alpha 3 ending, and is implied to be from another planet "A messenger from the stars".

@matt if you read the bottom part of her description. It says she uses sunlight to fuel her special moves. The keyword is fuel! She doesn't use light as an attack but rather as a energy source for her psycho power. We can't assume their actual light since, her attacks are based on her own psycho power. She just uses light as only a fuel
