"Mind Manipulation/Mind Control: Due to lacking a brain, conventional mind-altering abilities would not affect Gems. However, some types of mind manipulation attacks that don't work on conventional telepathic principles, such as Rohan Kishibe's Heaven's Door, would likely still work on them."
Taken straight from the blog, not sure if it's outdated or not but whatever, I don't keep up with the show.
The part where it implies that gems are resistant to telepathic mindhax (some types of mind manipulation attacks that don't work on conventional telepathic principles) is plain wrong.
Not having brain means you're resistant to biological mindhax, like a direct altering of your brain.
This does not mean you bypass the direct altering of the mind as a concept, since gems very clearly have personalities from what very little I've seen of the show.
Since they have personalities, they can make choices, they clearly have a "mind" even though they don't have a brain. That mind can be altered, so the implication of resistance to telepathic mindhax needs to be removed.
(If the blog is outdated or there's another feat of mindhax resist don't mind me.)
