Late-Game Steve

In-Character

Undyne the Undying is restricted.

Steve gets all his armour and equipment.

Any equipments for Steve? Because I'm assuming he has every arsenal he has, such as enchanted diamond armor and weapons, infinite flaming bow, large arsenal of potions, ender pearls, and better Regenerationn.

Anyway, I go with Steve for his arsenal to counter Undyne's abilities. Even though Undyne has danmaku, Steve has his own unbreaking enchanted shield to deflect arrows (Minecraft game mechanics). And Steve has potions to counter Undyne, such as healing potions to heal himself and negative status effect potions such as instant damage, weakness, poison, and wither. And he can use Ender Pearls to escape Undyne's soul manipulation and he can use a flaming bow and bottomless arrows to cook Undyne into cook fish for Steve's next plan to adventure. Also can passively regenerate from Undyne's arrow. And I forgot to mention, he has these totem of undying, so he can save himself from taking too much damage to his death.

Undyne attacks are soul based aka they attack you soul and steve has no resistence to soul manipulation, so if undyne hits steve is a OHK. so she can easilly win, also she has is better trained and the shield will do nothing as she doen't use arrows but arrow shaped soul magic attacks

Pretty sure she never had any serious opponents before Frisk. Only spare fights with Asgore. While Steve has clearly far more actual death danger survival experience.

I'm going with Undyne here, she clearly has better Skill then Steve and could literally Danmaku him to Death, Steve has no resistance to Soul based attacks like Undyne's and further more Asgore didn't place her as the leader of the Royal Guard for nothing, not to mention she is incredibly determined.

CQC isn't an option, Undyne would stop Steve from moving and Spam more Damaku on him while he's frozen and since only heat seemed to stop her, and they're not fighting in the Nether so that's not an option.

Ender Pearls, and besides how was Frisk able to harm Undyne?

Green mode still alow Undyne opponents to fight but Steve wouldn't be able to dodge her attacks, only block...

Steve has fire manipulation and lava...

potions won't help:

healing potions are useless because undyne attacks are OHK

Invisibility is counterd by danmanku and grounf spears

poison and wither are somewhat helpful but they have a short range

Only Steve is the one to actually have severe combat experience due to facing life-threating situations like, every god damn day. Undyne only trains with King Asgore and the only life threating situation she had was with Frisk (if choosing Neutral or Genocide route)

King Asgore is the best and most experienced monster in the Underground, nobody could rival his knowledge. And Undyne has been described as someone who beats everybody up and wins every fight, for this to be surprising there have likely been a few foes that rivaled even her.

Also Undyne gets faster the more angry she is and is physically faster than her spears regardless.
