Star Children and Baby Character's.

I found something interesting on the other wiki's of Mario. In the wiki I was looking at Yoshi's island DS had a statement about Baby Mario and the rest of the gang, it states that baby Mario and his other six baby friends were given star pieces and each baby holds a star pieces within them and if brought together, the one who has captured them will receive power to rule the universe.

Also why isn't there a tabber for baby Mario and luigi? They've been shown to have great combat abilities.

Actually Yoshi's Island Mario isn't the same. The series takes place in an alternate universe to the original.

I'm referring to Yoshi's island DS which was directed by takeshita and produced by nonaka, there is no mention of tezuka or watanabe. I should also mention that the game seems to take place in the seemingly same timeline as the Mainstream universe
