So are pre-Disney Plus MCU TV going to still be canon?

Sure, it can be said that he meant how we never saw the other characters in the movies.
 
For Agents of SHIELD, we consider the movies canon to the TV show, but the TV show to not be canon to the movies.
 
I suppose that could be a good idea, as the two continuities seem to have been kept mostly separate from each other.
