Slade's lifting strength is much higher which leads me to believe he could survive in a hand to hand fight if it came to it especially with his immortalities. Both have great stamina and good Range.


However Slade has proper time to prepare, and prior knowledge of Natsu. Natsu has some real weaknesses and with Slade's powers he could easily make use of these. He's way smarter and would be able to defeat him primarily on the prior knowledge.

Slade has prior knowledge and prep time. Natsu has a glaring weakness involving transportation, even the thought of it disables him. All Slade needs to do is have cars drive around him until Natsu gets nauseuous, and then place him in one of the cars. Natsu is incapacitated allowing Slade to kill him at his leisure.

That's not how Lifting Strength works. It helps you when you are trying to lift something, not fight someone. Natsu is ten times stronger than Slade so a single attack from him would destroy Slade's body to the point where his immortalities don't help.

The cars is probably a bad idea but he can project illusions that could make Natsu sick, while he's disabled he nullifies Natsu's power and likely springs any traps he can. Slade can't kill Natsu in one hit but he easily has enough disables to take out Natsu. ESPECIALLY given the Prior Knowledge of his opponent.

Another big point is that Slade excells in fights against hot heads, because he's already a master manipulator and when the person isn't thinking straight it's even easier. That was his main thing was distressing people to the point where they couldn't even fight. Slade wouldn't get hit given his prep time.

What, do you mean like an illusion of a car? You know that when it says the thought of transportation makes him sick, it's talking about him thinking he about riding on the vehicle right? He doesn't see a car and start throwing up.

??? Natsu being on a vehicle doesn't make his durability lower either.

I mean the manipulation thing doesn't help unless you explain how he would use it on Natsu.

None of this changes the fact that with Natsu's AP advantage and AOE, Slade's entire body is getting vaporized in a single hit.

I was referring to TheWanderer's post about using cars. Slade has played Shadow Games before where he appears completely illusory and can project people into situations not actually happening. So for an example he could make Natsu think he's on a ship in turbulent waters. Which makes Natsu sick and immobilized long enough for Slade to generate enough hits to put him down.

Not really. SBA has them start in Central Park. If the surroundings randomly change into something else then Natsu might not think it's real. It's all about his thoughts about it that make it a weakness. For example, he was able to move around on this giant moving machine by not thinking of it as transportation.

Well his intelligence is listed as pretty low, even lacking common sense. With there being so many mages in his world I don't see him seeing through that.

There's also his Extrasensory Perception. He'll know the environment is made up of magic.

Edit: Besides, it doesn't take common sense to realize that you were not on a ship in the ocean a few seconds ago.

Is one going to talk about how bloodlusted Natsu isn't going to stick to Base and will probably go into his most powerful form which is either Lightning Flame Dragon Mode or Dragon Force? Or he could go into a Dragon Force boosted Lightning Flame Dragon Mode!

Base X784 form is 7-C, that's Natsu former weakest form and the one his in for this fight. His current weakest form Natsu_Dragneel_(100_Year_Quest) Base is At least High 7-A.
