It looks like Aela outskills while the Sodden Knight is more powerful. Since Aela doesn't get her range advantage nor a chance to transform, she definitely has reduced chances, but I still think she has a shot. She's very agile and can avoid his attacks, including the lightning attack if it's limited to a ground-level shockwave. She dies if she slips up, but I think she takes it high-diff.

Just pointing out to help both characters: The Festering Banquet is an entire castle so Aela has plenty of room to bow and transform into a werewolf. The Sodden Knight also is pretty agile in his second phase, and he has been defending the Banquet for Decades. Along with being a famed war hero in a land where everyone is constantly at war.

Then this makes it easier for Aela, she can use her stealth mastery and surprise the Sodden Knight as a werewolf, howling and turning him into prey.
