I was wondering about the old comparison of them.
It basically ended with , people assuming Sigurd would win because it feels like he is more skilled then siegfried.
while sigurds only feat is , killing fafnir with a sneak attack and fighting mash and shelock to stalemate.
while Siegfried defeated fafnir as a mere human in a 1v1 , is called the strongest saber and peak of swordsmanship in the novel and was close to kill karna in a 1v1 match , who is called the peak of spearmanship , already reaching the domain of gods.
Its a bit confusing to me that it counts as a reason to assume someone is more skilled while the canon books say something different
