I mean, someone claimed Maple wouldn't stand a chance against Tricky, but... I dunno man, Maple's main defense is Devour, which can absorb literally anything. Her main offenses are pretty tough too. Maple's main method of attack is Poison Manipulation, which is a layered deal as it bypasses resistances to Poison Manipulation, and on top of that, her Poison attacks have a 20% chance of inflicting instant death. Now, one could defend Tricky being a zombie, in which case, yeah, zombies aren't really going to give a shit about poison, but I don't think whoever wrote zombies ever had layered poison manipulation in mind! Of course there is also Throne of the Heavenly King, and yes, that's in the profile as a picture. The ability serves as a pretty effective Power Null, as the effects are as follows.:
"Effect: Creates a throne behind you. The person sitting on the throne receives 20% less damage and recovers 2% of their maximum HP every second. All those within 30 meters of the throne, including yourself, have their skills from 'evil'-origins disabled."
Basically since Tricky is evil incarnate, he can't really do jack shit if Maple uses Throne of the Heavenly King. Problem is the technique also renders Maple unable to move, but she can still use Poison magic from the Hydra skill somehow (which is still layered Poison Manipulation even though other sub-skills of the Hydra chain are inaccessible).
Thinking about it, Maple and Tricky both kinda have to deal with the same shit from their respective higher powers, with Tricky only being able to live as long as the Higher Powers wanting him to, and Maple regularly being subjected to the nonsense of the Game Devs of NWO.
In regards to Maple's tactics, it seems to depend on her situation, although Atrocity is her trump card, even being capable of handling what Machine God couldn't handle (Thanks, Season 2.). Then again, this is the same girl who had exhibited semi-animalistic behavior by eating random shit. She might think Tricky is food and randomly start eating him.
Anyway, for this match, this is Post-Machine God Maple vs Tricky (his lowest 9-A key, mind you) and speed is equalized. Starting distance is 5 meters. Here are their profiles:
