Sesshomaru should got this. He can ignore Ban's regen by use Meidō Zangetsuha to send him to netherworld.
Or even without using this. He can still kill Ban in one slash with Bakusaiga which nullified regen and destroy him with continuous destructive effect.
There's also a fact that Ban doesn't take things seriously sometimes and often confident in his immortality. So I think it's should be too late before he realize to use HF in this fight.
