Separating keys for Diavolo

Basically, we should have two keys for Diavolo, one for his Doppio personality, the other for Diavolo.

The main differences between them is that Doppio cannot erase time, and can only summon King Crimson's arms. It's completely unconfirmed that Doppio can erase time even with Diavolo's permission, as when Doppio sees on his precognition a chunk of his head getting torn off, Diavolo explicitly says that he'd come to erase that segment of time instead of giving Doppio the full King Crimson. Also, Doppio's slightly less experienced than Diavolo, too.

Doppio doesn't lack combat feats either, as we can see exactly how he fights in his long battle against Risotto Nero.

Better scans to prove that Doppio cannot erase time, even if Diavolo wanted to give it to him.

"Once I arrive with my full abilities, I can erase the time of that screen you saw."

Tier: 10-A, 8-C with King Crimson's arms|10-A, 8-C with King Crimson

Name: Diavolo, the Boss, Solido Naso (One of his aliases), Vinegar Doppio

Origin: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part V: Vento Aureo

Age: 33 years old, Doppio appears to be a teenager mentally and physically

Gender: Male

Classification: Human, Stand User, Boss of Passione, Underboss of the Boss

Powers and Abilities: Split Personality (His body contains two souls, that of Doppio and that of Diavolo, and he can switch at will, changing his physical proportions as well; Doppio can use Epitaph as well), Precognition (Epitaph shows its user visions of up to ten seconds into the future when used), King Crimson's arms have Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Invisibility (Only other Stand Users can see Stands), Non-Corporeal (Stands are the incorporeal manifestation of one's vital energy and can only be harmed by other Stands), Non-Physical Interaction (Stands can interact with ghosts and other Stands)|Saame as before, with the full King Crimson he has all of the above, plus Time Erasure & Causality Manipulation (King Crimson can erase up to ten seconds of time, warping space in the process. With this it allows him to erase all the process of the actions done in the erased time, leaving only its results), Adhesivity (Can crawl up walls)

Attack Potency: Athlete level, Building level+ with King Crimson (Severely maimed Silver Chariot. Smashed open Gold Experience's head, but it was unaffected because of Gold Experience Requiem abandoning its previous body like a shell)

Speed: Supersonic (While his body was under someone else's control, it was still capable of chasing after Guido Mista) with Massively FTL reactions. Massively FTL with King Crimson (Though speed is rarely an issue for it due to time skipping, it still quickly gouged out Chariot's eye and continued attacking Polnareff before he could defend himself) (Supersonic is going to be downgraded, so it's still the same for both Doppio and Diavolo once we change it)

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Athlete Class, Building Class+ with King Crimson

Durability: Athlete level, Building level+ with King Crimson (Survived hits from Sticky Fingers before erasing them)

Stamina: Peak human. Despite losing much of his blood, Diavolo and Doppio were able to kill Risotto Nero and escape Buccellati and his allies.

Range: Standard Meele Range|Several meters with King Crimson, Universal with time skip

Standard Equipment: His Stand, King Crimson.

Intelligence: Naturally, as the leader of the extremely successful and powerful gang Passione, Diavolo is a cunning man with a knack for strategy. For the sole purpose of maintaining his anonymity no matter what, Diavolo has eradicated nearly all the traces of his past, and acts to make sure that he never reveals himself when he can help it to deal with his subordinates. Diavolo is also very observant, seeing the true nature of Silver Chariot Requiem and disabling it himself, while also keeping track of Team Buccellati. In combat, he makes brutal and simplistic use of his Stand, taking no chances and skipping time to deliver lethal blows without delay. He's competent at thinking on his feet, taking any opportunity he can when they arise and exploiting his surroundings to dispatch of Risotto Nero.

Weaknesses: Doppio needs "permission" from Diavolo to use King Crimson, and any damage King Crimson takes will be reflected onto Diavolo. Epitaph's forecasts cannot be avoided, though they can be dealt with using the knowledge they grant.

Key: Doppio|Diavolo

Intelligente section definitely needs to be rewritten.

I was gonna make a different thread about this, but I guess I can just go ahead and bring it up here.

Despite it making no sense, I think it is pretty undeniable that Diavolo can move objects in erased time. He cannot attack, obviously, but the hotel scene, him escaping Mr President or him moving the hand of the psychic are both pretty clear showings of him being capable of interacting with objects but not attacking. No less than 3 different occurrences of it make it almost impossible to dismiss as just PIS

Quite sure it's going to be next week.

I said couple because Im kinda unaware about how many chapters they use in each episode and I dont remember how long the fight actually was.

I dont watch JoJo.

@Iapitus

I generally interpreted it like Diego's timestop. If he wants to not stop time to his horse, as long as he touches it he can prevent it from freezing in time. Similarly, if Diavolo wants to interact with objects he just needs to not erase their time.

Admittedly this is my own headcanon, but it's literally one of the examples you posted that proves he can still somewhat interact with people even in erased time (the fortune teller's hand).

Intelligence: Above average (even though he acts weird, Doppio is very smart, he is the underboss of Passione, whose Boss trust in him in his mission, Also was able to fight against Risotto Nero, figure his weakness, and make an impressive strategy in order to turn the tables) | gifted (Diavolo is the Boss of passione, a very Big and well organized group, capable of controling his whole organization with a lot of skill, like when he gave order to Bucciarati's gang in order to accomplish the mission, Also Diavolo is smart enough to control everything from the shadows without getting anyone to Discover his identity)

Im a bit unexperienced yet in this, i may aswell have a bad english, im neither a very knowledgeable member in JoJo, please don't kill me if you find inaccuracies.

Doppio is average.

He is the underboss because he is literally the boss' other persona.

Yeah, but he has shown some "200IQ hacks" (as i like saying It) against Risotto Nero, even though he needs tips from Diavolo, but i dont know Doppio so much, maybe you are right.

While it's true that Doppio is the underboss because he's his double personality, it's obvious that Doppio is above just "average" for what's basically his entire fight against Risotto, in which he manges to understand Nero's power and managed to injure him, the boss of Passione's hitman team.

Tbh that fight was entirely plot based.

Diavolo could have summoned KC at the very beginning when Doppio met Nero, ending the fight before it started.

Diavolo needs some time to emerge, and if Risotto managed to get enough far away, he'd know how Diavolo looked like. Diavolo's extremely paranoid about that, as we've already seen several times. Anyway, that doesn't change Doppio's skill feats.

We should add that paranoia to his intelligence.

Doppio: as Diavolo's second personality, he follows his every order blindly, which can lead to critical mistakes. Is smart enough to analyze an enemy's ability and prepare a counterattack. Sometimes fakes his naivety, other times, however, he actually behaves clumsily.

Yeah, right, as i said, above average because of his "200IQ hacks" against Risotto Nero, and good combat experience (see Risotto VS Doppio), and the paranoia for Diavolo, and Triforce's suggestion.

"He mostly follows Diavolo's orders and advices, which can lead to critical mistakes"

As for Diavolo: cunning tactician when in control of his body. When he is supporting Doppio he is more prone to make misjudgements due to his reliance in KC to fight and Doppio's inability to use said ability. Very adapt fighter. However, his paranoia regarding the discorvery of his identity can make him commit mistakes against an opponent.

For Diavolo, he didnt try to hide from polnareff, as polnareff already knew it, Also he didnt try to hide from giorno and company after polnareff, pretty much if you discover his identity, he is gonna 100% fight you normally to death, but its right that he would never flee from said fight, dead before discovered for Diavolo, he would do anything to kill his opponent, identity discover= no hide and seek, more like "accept your fate or i get the grave" (that meme reference tho), that weakness is almost no combat aplicable in a standart Battle, but maybe It affects It someway.

In a fight, obviously the opponent already sees Diavolo, so no intention of hiding, except for the cleaning lady, he knew he stood the chance and he was gonna get his sh*t cleansed out of him, so he time erased and Fled, knowing a defense attmept would be futile.

Intelligence: Above average (Doppio is a skilled fighter Who was able to fight Risotto with complex actions, like using Aerosmith against him and noticing metallica's weakness fast) | Gifted (Diavolo leads a big mafia organization which is able to control skillfully while hiding his identity)
