SBR and Jojolion speed downgrade

I honestly don't agree with SBR and Jojolion's speed scaling as of right now. I know that currently they're scaled off of stand stand stats from the previous universe, but it doesn't really work when for most of the story Gyro and Johnny are pretty consistently threatened by regular revolver bullets, and seeing that then going to their pages to see MFTL scaling just feels a little silly, especially since stand stats aren't consistent in the first place. Overall I just think the scaling from stats is dumb when in the manga (most of) the characters are bullet timers at best. Also Kira's part 8 counterpart's speed straight up doesn't make sense, even if you were to scale from his part 4 iteration he would only be relativistic - relativistic+

Gyro couldn't dodge Ringo's revolver from up close, but generally they can dodge shots from afar and somewhat react to gunshots (it's slightly inconsistent). But it's pretty well established that they only have superhuman reactions at most, MFTL for them is absolutely absurd in my opinion.

That's what I don't get. I don't think Diego should be scaled to DIO either because it creates this mess of backwards scaling that's completely inconsistent with the rest of the story based off of a 4 (I think?) chapter fight.

Yes it is. Reaction speeds are speeds you can move at least in a certain radius. Ringo and Gyro were less than 4 feet apart, if he really had MFTL reactions he could duck or dodge before the shot was fired.

It’s actually the speed you react at. To my knowledge, this would be the speed you can comprehend the attack is coming, u could track it, or watch it. Actually moving would be short burst movement. He has no feats of this.

So how do we get a moderator or something to come here, do we have to click our red heels together and say I want a revision, I want a revision, I want a revision! Over and over again or something? I'm not really too sure how this works
 
I thought the SBR revision came? I mean we had Jojolion already.. Also I haven't ever seen an SBR revision thread been posted and have more than 5 or so replies in the content revision section
 
Sorry, but no. SBR and JoJolion have the ratings because it's outdated, as the guy who created the profiles thought it was a good idea to scale 90% of the cast to the fastest Stands in the series. But this doesn't mean this thread is good though, you're basically asking for a downgrade without thinking what they should scale in place of what they currently do.

I saw that you're new here, so I'll tell you something: We work with calculations, we pixelscale stuff in the pages and use irl physics. We do that to get more solid ratings, and that's what both SBR and JoJolion deserve. We actually need to calculate their speed (and other stuff as well). I do agree that Johnny and Gyro are mostly bullet timer characters, but we need calculations for that. And that's not an issue since me and @Chariot190 are working on that, we are re-creating SBR profiles, the most important ones at least. You can check what we'll do with them by taking a look at Josuke8 and Tooru profiles, the explanations, scans, etc.

We know it's outdated, and we are working to fix it. But it takes time, and I want to keep JoJo's main CRTs with the high quality they deserve, just like the Attack Potency Thread (Part 1 to 6), Speed Thread (Part 1 to 6) another Attack Potency Thread (Part 2, 3, 4 and 5). We need scans, explanations, references, etc.

So yeah, actually wait or yall will never get SBR or JoJolion revised, and holy moly the profiles are pure gold, I swear.
 
Yeah, it's just best to wait for the main revisions that M3X and Chariot will make in the near future. Closing.
