Jojo's Infinite Speed is obtained from Enrico Pucci's strongest Stand, namely Made In Heaven (MIH), Pucci can get Infinite speed through Made In Heaven's speed statistics which gets "infinite". •> The reason why Pucci can't get infinite speed

Pucci does not apply the infinite speed standard at all, which requires moving within 0 seconds or moving an infinite distance. Pucci's movements still require time above 0 seconds and over a limited distance. However, from the way MIH time acceleration works, I came to the conclusion that Pucci will not be able to get infinite speed, this is because the growth of Pucci's speed requires time. For example, every 1 second Pucci's speed increases by 100m/s, if it only increases to a LIMITED number, Pucci's speed will not will never be able to reach infinite because to reach infinite speed it takes infinite time while the acceleration of Made In Heaven does not last forever.

Characters who have infinite speed via Pucci scaling will also be downgraded:

there is a issue with this though, while pucci's time acceleration shouldn't be able to reach infinite normally, even if it is exponential, it still does regardless, we don't know why or how it jumps, but the manga explicitly states that time accelerates to infinity there, with the stand card supporting it showing his speed to be infinite

those clips also don't matter, those occur during pucci's time acceleration, it only hits infinity when the universe actually resets

Statements are not always true, if there is something that contradicts the statement, the certainty of the statement cannot be used as a basis. Just like Notorious big which has infinite speed statistics but in fact the feats don't show infinite speed. Araki as the author of Jojo certainly doesn't understand the conditions for getting the correct infinite speed.

Statements are not always true, if there is something that contradicts the statement, the certainty of the statement cannot be used as a basis. Just like Notorious big which has infinite speed statistics but in fact the feats don't show infinite speed. Araki as the author of Jojo certainly doesn't understand the conditions for getting the correct infinite speed.

the difference is that there is actual reason for both infinite speed stats

pucci reaches infinite time acceleration eventually, ergo his speed stat is infinite, and notorious BIG matches the speed of the fastest target in the facility, ergo it's speed is not set and could theorically be as fast as it needs to be

this is not "araki not understanding the conditions", this is araki just not saying their speed is always infinite, just that it can potentially be infinite

arguing that "statements are not always true" or that the author doesn't understand infinite speed are not actual arguments either, the former everyone knows and it doesn't matter because those statements are true, and the latter is just assumptions and misterpreting author intent

Pucci's stand does a process that written on paper would look less like.

1, 2, 3... never reaching infinity.

And more like.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , ∞.

Sure enough, if we speak logically it should be impossible to reach infinity by accelerating but we see from the story events and lore that such is exactly what happens in the end. It's just what his hax does, so I have to disagree as well. If a hax does something that is illogical, but does it anyways, it cannot be invalidated.
