And where did you get the bolded, because it wasn’t calculated and it wasn’t stated either.Radio waves are light speed -> Air Cannon's speed is unknown -> Radio waves travel at the same speed as the Air Cannon and permeate throughout it -> Therefore, the Air Cannon is also light speed
So that wasn’t solved, it was assumed.
We also see in the anime that Stars is in a wildly different position than what the calculation assumes. Would you like to differ to that as well?We see in the anime that the radio waves appeared/traveled the same time/speed as the attack.
The big problem here is that the calculation assumes far too much:
- It assumes Stars is at the very epicenter of the attack despite there being movement and a near full page of chatter before it was fired in between.
- And it assumes the air canon is traveling at the same speed as the radio waves.
When differing to the anime for the feat, it depicts it in an entirely different manner than the calc asserts.
And only by picking and choosing what assumptions you want to discard and which ones you want to keep, even if those assumptions are falling under what would be classified as a “contradiction” to the manga, do we get the number the calc measured.
Which to me seems like a hugely artificial inflation of the feat, as nothing in the manga ever depicts Stars where the calc asserts nor does it depicts the speed of which the air canon traveled at.
