You should wait a few hours before you bump a thread.

Sans blitzes but he can't put Steve down for good so I am going to vote Inconclusve.

He should. The default assumption is that characters have souls until proven otherwise.

Dunno. He feasibly could.

Actually, this feels kinda stompish. Sans would eventually tire.

Actually, this is very weird. Sans has a decent enough speed advantage to not worry about exerting himself to dodge. So, sticking to incon.

I also think telekinisis and teleportation will not let steve even get close right?

Oh wait can sans BFR steve by destroying his bed if its near or teleporting him somewhere

He wouldn't know to do that.

Scratch that, stomp. Steve will get killed, come back, rinse and repeat until Sans eventually gets tired.

Well, if Sans can absorb Steve's soul he could potentially use his powers (the avatar's power, at least). Very ooc, but in a drawn out fight it is potentially true. (He'd also get LV when killing him now that I think of it..., and could take any equipment Steve made after killing him)

Major problem here for Steve would be a lack of good materials. With no proper crafting items around, the best thing he could make would be a bow for ranged combat, and even that wouldn't be very useful compared to something like Frisk's revolver.

Still, I feel the thread should specify where Steve respawns then. Even if dying in the Nether or the End, he goes back to his original world, so if the respawn poing is outside Mount Ebott, he might just get BFRd.

Should I say his bed is nearby but in vision of sans and maybe we can say sans would break ir and BFR?

I guess you could specify that the two have knowledge, and that the Steve's bed is nearby.

If so, then yes, Sans would win rather casually.

Then isn't this a blitz now? Sans destroys his bed faster than he can react.

How speed is equalized?

Well, regardless, if Sans knows of the bad, he can easily get it with his attacks, especially since they are intangible and pass through enemis, meaning a single ghaster blaster directed towards it destroys it.

With that, while he'd potentially last a little longer with totems of undying, Steve would be still pretty much doomed.

Should I give him prep time and remove knowledge of sans so sans would need to kill him a few times to understand the situation

1. Sans will tire, yes, dodging is what makes him get tired in the game, but he also gets tired when using his powers at the end, his stamina ain't "infinite, high when dodging"

2. Why is sans able to absorb souls again?

3. Pretty sure the bed just gives steven a selective ressurection point, he will still come back regardless, so eventually sans gets tired.

I thought equalized speed mesns they are both the same speed
Well, yes, but Sans' attacks are meters tall bones that can sprout from underground, while Steve has a single bow.

I guess? If Steve just reappears right next to Sans, he might accidentally destroy the bed with an attack by just attacking right away.

Sans most likely still wins this.

Who said its infinite I said its too long

Thats what monsters can do? In canon game?

He spawns outside of mountain so he gets BFRd

He spawns outside of mountain so he gets BFRd
......Which is why Steve would eventually win if there weren't other conditions.

Actually, he could just come back. If the distance is really only that much then this is looking more stompish.

1. Because you said sans would only tire when dodging, when he clearly tires down by using his powers.

3. Not a BFR, you need to keep your opponent away for a week IIRC, steven can go back to the mountain in like a few hours, in fact, spawning outside would give steven time to prep too.

I mean, not really? How would he have any idea that he needs to climb a mountain, jump down a hole (big enough that it'd kill him in game due to fall damage), move through the ruins through New Home, and then get to Judgment Hall again?
