Saitama should take this handily. The AP advantage isn't nearly large enough for Saitama's fighting skill to not make the difference. He also has Accelerated Development and a massive LS advantage which would allow him to gain the upper hand.

Saitama FRA. If the battle if prolonged (which it probably will because Saitama), then Saitama will eventually take this due to the massive AP gap (18 Exatons compared to Adam's 7 Teratons max), not to mention the insane LS gap (Class E to Adam's Class T).

On top of that, Saitama has very acute eyesight which allows him to outskill his opponents through various methods such as tripping to set up another attack and counters using the opponents strength against them.

What skill feats does mid-training Saitama even have?

Come on that's just a very basic foot sweep and punch, I could unironically pull those off.

That being said DCEU sucks so I'm inclined to be bias against it

Considering his back was turned and he was immediately able to notice that they were in-between steps, Saitama instantly using his eyesight to capitalize on that moment is more impressive than you'd think. Especially since he was already disoriented.

Saitama stated that he trained until he couldn't learn anything anymore (which included martial arts). He did this by both training and fighting countless types of monsters.

During his training he had enough fighting skills to contend with monsters with threats on the level of the Monster Association, which had folks such as Gouketsu and the Ninja Duo.

First of all that's a dream so it doesn't even work as a feat to begin with.

Second of all, no that's very basic stuff. You're using a lot of fancy words but he realistically just saw monsters run towards him and swoop their feet.
Just because he doesn't learn anything doesn't mean he already learned everything, that's an insane leap in logic. Especially given Saitama didn't even understand wtf martial arts are by the tournament arc and thought it's just moving in a kinda cool way. Which was long after he's gone bald.
Most monsters don't even have any skill to begin with. How tf would Saitama learn something by a lettuce monster? 😭

Gouketsu and ninja duo only became monsters recently in the manga because Psykos/Gyoro Gyoro were collecting allies and giving them monster cells.

Skilled monsters are super rare and we've never seen mid-training Saitama fight one

Except we see a panel of Saitama's eyes looking downward at their feet. He noticed they were in-between steps and tripped them. Being able to do that in a short timeframe is impressive. Trying to downplay this isn't going to get you anywhere.

It's still his fighting skill.

I never claimed that he already learned everything. I'm saying that he's experienced and seen vasts amounts of martial art styles to the point to where they don't really mean anything to him anymore. That's not Saitama not understanding what Martial Arts are, that's a comment that shows how he trivially he views Martial Arts. This is proven when he was easily able to perfectly copy Garou's ultimate fist which combines dozens of martial arts styles that Garou himself couldn't master until he defeated Sage Centipede. He was able to do that because of his fighting experience.

There's no way to prove this. There are several monsters who mutated because of their obsession with martial arts such as boxing, among others. Saitama has fought several organizations which enemies as powerful as the monster association. To think that he just fought "lettuce monsters" until he because 4-A is ridiculous.

The fact does not change that it was stated that he fought Monster Association level threats while they were a part of it. Saitama at the least has fought people on their tier. This point isn't really something you can debate unless you want to just ignore the manga.

So why does this all matter? If they eventually jump up to their highest in their respective key, Saitama will win anyway due to my reasons above.

It happens after Saitama gets way stronger than anyone, it's not that he can't learn martial arts or anything, he can't use them as a reference since they are all meaningless.

Suiryu against Saitama, in his perspective, his martial arts didn't do anything to him, which makes it meaningless, nothing more than a cool way to attack. That's how he veiws them because other than that, there were no effect on him.

But still he learns what he sees, in this weaker state it should be even more possible for him. but we nearly have no idea (except extra chapters) about the enemies he fought in "during training". Though we know that he fought enemies that were on the level of Monster Association, It doesn't necessarily mean those monsters were skilled in hand to hand or anything like that. way vague.

True. Definitely has nothing, i remember him keeping up with a Class-A bounty in one of ova episodes though.

Might be wrong but shouldn't this key of Saitama scale to Country level? Monster association level included homeless emperor as well, technically Gouketsu was also included.

Anyway, Saitama FRA. The difference between their strength isn't that huge and Black adam doesn't seem to have any type of skill to finish him?

I'm not claiming he only fought lettuce monsters. I'm saying that MOST monsters are not martial artists or skilled in general. Hell most monsters are not even all that strong.
Saitama fighting a bunch of monsters foes prove anything about his skill. We have no way of proving he fought anyone skilled and even if he did we have no way of proving he didn't just AP stomp and blitz them.

Saitama not even knowing wtf martial arts are makes this even worse because it literally means he didn't consciously learn anything about them.

But it does change the very important fact that we don't know how skilled and strong the monsters he fought were in comparison to him, and that he literally thought this about martial arts
BiV7A2F.png

You'd have to literally "ignore the manga" to deny this. Hell in the original source (which I know isn't canon to the manga anymore but was very much the blueprint for it) has Garou call Saitama a complete amateur in martial arts
Screenshot-2024-11-21-18-50-58-389-com-reddit-frontpage-edit.jpg

So him being skilled is very much wrong in the original source material and heavily implied to be wrong in the manga itself while having ZERO actual evidence to support it

Nothing beats a good old FRA train based on completely false information frfr.

Not like it's going to change anything but looking at Adams profile he's an actual master combatant (with actual skill feats), more versatility thanks to lightning and healing, and can fly which Saitama can't counter. Not to mention a 2.7 times AP advantage

I hate to say it but I don't see how is Saitama winning this. Adam has a skill, AP, and versatility advantage while all Saitama is superior in is LS. His AD is fine but Adam has rage power and already starts with a major advantage so he's not getting one shotted and maybe not even harmed beyond regeneration. Hell Saitama doesn't even resist Adams electricity.

Willpower: Wassup.

Yall treat willpower as if it was a magical one shot button.
Saitama is literally facing someone stronger who's more skilled, can fly, shoot lightning, and regenerate.

Like great Saitama can keep fighting a little longer after Adam beats the living hell out of him but he literally can't even touch Adam due to flying and skill combined with long range attacks, and even if he eventually does hit him he can't easily deal a fatal blow because of regeneration.

Voting Saitama high diff via Supernatural Willpower and insane AD. Though the arguments that paint mid-training Saitama as a martial arts master are admittedly unconvincing.

I would probably say Saitama takes it here, ignoring the whole FRA bit. The increase in power is nothing to scoff at considering he went from being an ordinary human to someone who could surpass pretty much everyone in the Hero Association, and the same would go for his speed as well.

Lastly in regards to the whole "Saitama doesn't know marital arts" bit, consider this bit from his "post-balding" key
Now granted, while this is considered post-balding, keep in mind that Garou states the capability of Saitama to copy the martial arts of another opponent if he takes it seriously (meaning this has nothing to really to do with his limiter or his AP). At this point in his story, Saitama is already motivated to become stronger, and his willpower is already supernatural enough that he began to break his own limits. With this in mind, I would say that Saitama would be able to eventually match Black Adam with time as his motivation to grow stronger would allow him to eventually match Black Adam in skill.

So yeah thats my vote.

Saitama was a talentless bum until he broke his limiter, I seriously doubt he could copy martial arts like he did against Garou. Especially given he doesn't know shit about them, and that Adam would use flying and lightning within his moveset which Saitama wouldn't be able to replicate

Ironically nobody in the thread mentioned how Saitama doesn't just get fried from a distance given how he has no long range moves or lightning counters but that's about what I'd expect in your average Saitama thread ngl
