@ShadowWhoWalks Im not sure you realize this but if we take a single instance of Ruby being surprised by Penny stopping a car with her bare hands as an anti-feat then literally 99% of the feats of the vers would be downgraded as a result as that would imply that she was surprised that penny was durable enough to tank the impact force of a car as well

Nobody was close enough to take the full 7-B blast except for Salem and Hazel who were both obliterated (temporarily in Salem's case).

And Vine's Semblance was enough to contain the blast, but I think we'd need more than that to say everybody's aura is capable of tanking the full blast... otherwise why would Qrow and the others be worried about themselves?

Oscar was at the heart of it and Hazel's aura was broken

Yep, looks fine.

So I guess we should discuss the Tier 7 upgrade proposal for top-tier Huntsmen/Huntresses, and the downgrade proposal for Lifting Strength.

For the Long Memory's blast, Oscar created a similar shield to the one Ozpin used against Cinder, and this is arguably a basis to downscale the Maidens (and therefore other characters) to it.
There seems to be a short-range kinetic energy that shoved people outside Monstra without much damage, and a long-range anti-Grimm magic energy since Grimm inside of Atlas were destroyed without harm to the buildings.

No Grimm was shown to be destroyed, just pushed away. There was no mention of anything else being stored up besides Kinetic Energy.

Should Winter get a second Key, or are we saying her base strength now is the same as it was in Volume 3?

That's what I thought.

Well since the Volume is officially over, it's clear that being inexperience with the Maiden power doesn't reflect a person's power output, just their skill with the power. As both Penny and Winter could keep up with Maiden Cinder without being overpowered. So unless I'm mistaken, they can both be High 7-C with their Maiden Powers.

How will we treat Vine's Aura containing that blast? Yes it killed him, but the shield he put up made the blast harmless. It's not posted yet but I made a quick calc that puts the bomb's yield at 7-B (9.77 Megatons), which isn't a surprise since it was meant to destroy a city.

The 7-C calc I made for Penny was before she began using her Maiden powers, so her base stats would be 7-C in this case right? How are we rating all of the times people have fought Cinder? Do we assume she was holding back in all of those fights?

His aura scales to the blast itself (funnily enough this is a rare occurence where the feat is fully scaled to as it contained the entire blast) but his physical durability does not. This also scales to the aura durability of everyone in the current series as his semblance is literally just extending his aura into larger shapes.

Up until the last two volumes no one other than raven fought or harmed a serious cinder so no one would really scale to her before volumes 7 and 8
 
I do kinda want to mention that Weiss took a point blank blast from Cinder while her aura was down, which caused her to fall into the void. So potential buff to non aura durability.
