Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

I just went through it and no, they aren't trolling. Your asserting stuff not even on the profile or on wiki pages and they disagree. Like, they haven't even broken any rules as far as I can see.

Honestly it reads more like you lashed out at him for not getting your point. Having known Imaginym for an exceedingly long time, I very strongly doubt that this is trolling to any extent. The man is harmless. Moving on.

Regarding Arc, now that he has given his final arguments and the original decision was to block him afterwards, I just want to say that I suggested 6 months earlier, but he later apologized and has shown better behavior. With that in mind, I now think 6 months might have been too harsh and I'd personally lower it to 3 as others had suggested.

I also agree with reducing the block time for Arc7.

Since the decision was taken, and after Arc posted on the thread that he doesn't want to make any more arguments and it is just up to whatever decision is taken, I personally messaged him to ask if there is anything else that he wants to post. You can see the conversation here, where he agreed to a ban of 3 months.

Me: Hi! So like it was decided prior, you will be blocked for 3 months. Apart from Memories of Nobody which might require another thread later, I don't suppose you have anything else to state on that thread going by your recent comments? Just want to make sure before you are abruptly blocked from posting.

Him: @AKM sama rock my shit fam

Me: All right. Thanks for being reasonable. I might change my pfp to Mikasa after a while just to honor you. See you in 3 months.

Him: That’s some real king shit hahaha

Well, he did include "*******" as a tag.

That said, I do not see the harm in allowing polls that are not overwhelmingly mismatched to exist in the internal forum, as they will not be used for anything anyway.

I mean we have a page on the wiki called ******* so I assume a tag of the same name is fine

In itself, sure, but in this context it was clearly meant as an insult.

Still, a warning should be enough.

I would personally push for a longer ban, considering he’s been banned for that same reason at least once before, but that’s just me.

One look at his profile and contributions, the dude doesn't really seem that harmful? Granted, IDK jack about him, but he mostly seemed oblivious and thought that the wikia is a bad place because of the rants he heard on reddit or something.

Regardless, if he has been banned for 2 years, and he was banned for this type of stuff, I'm all in for unblocking him.

If that was the reason for his ban, there’s no reason to keep him banned, right? We can just keep an eye on him after he comes back to see if he does anything against the rules, and if so, handle it like we would for any normal user.

It doesn't seem to be the reason based on the ban summary, but maybe we misunderstood his intentions at the time.

What do other staff members here think?
Don't really know anything about them, but if it has been nearly two years and they say they've changed then I say let them back in. Just give them a probationary period to make sure they don't immediately start back up doing the same stuff like Axx said above.

He's been fine from what I've seen as a lurker and he's been really nice on the superpower wiki community.
Okay. I would prefer a bit of staff input before I unban him though.

I have unblocked him here and in the wiki.

I blocked him and removed his posts. He had a history of systematic trolling.
