I think a warning could do since the link itself wasn’t pornographic, it just came from a site that has **** on it. Tell him he has to be more mindful of what sites he uses.

This may not have been their fault. From what I've heard, sometimes gfycat detects a gif as being 18+ (by a failure of the algorithm or by containing gore) and automatically moves it to their site for **** gifs.

I think I've also seen stuff like that on reddit. Relatively innocent gifs but redirects to redgifs instead of gfycat. Inversely, I've also seen NSFW material but still remains as a gfycat link.

If we're considering stuff like that against the rules, then I think we kind of have to tackle the question of how to present video-based feats. The most reliable site we've had for them was gfycat but, as you've seen here, they now sometimes move them onto their 18+ site.
