I responded to him and he responded then locked the thread before I had a chance to respond
I would be fine if he had something from those two staff that showed they wanted to add it at that point

I'd advise against calling others butthurt, considering this is more a less a petty case of authorisation.
If the CRT itself is uncontroversial and is mostly uncontested towards the end it is usually fine to apply. A level of trust is placed in the OP to handle the changes with their own discretion and that should be it. If a counterargument happens after a concluded CRT or after changes are made, another CRT would have to be made before further changes to the page are made.

they were banned like 10 minutes ago, any edits to Hell's size increasing past 2-B would effect Davoth as well so they did that correctly

From what I heard, some of the recent Doom god tiers have been controversial, and Hell specifically used to be Low 1-C; though not anymore. But I have a feeling that locking Hell might be a safe bet.
