I mean no? If they made an account because they want to upgrade Bleach and are legit users that have never been here before, why is that a problem? Sure, all they have contributed to is Bleach. But its only been a day. If in a week all they've done is try to upgrade Bleach, that may be a problem, but its only been a day

  • Please do not attempt to upgrade Bleach to 5-B again. This has been discussed to exhaustion throughout discussion threads numbering literal thousands of posts, and eventually we finally reached the conclusion that the collapse / merging of Earth, Soul Society and Hueco Mundo is not a direct feat, but rather a natural collateral-effect of the flow of souls being unbalanced , and as such characters cannot scale to it.
  • Regarding Yhwach from Bleach, there have been statements in some chapters misusing the term omnipotence and omniscience (quite common in fiction). Please note that a franchise that does not have anything indicating beyond planet level feats will NOT be upgraded to Tier 2 or above under any circumstances.
  • Also, please do not try use Gin Ichimaru's supposed Bankai speed to support a speed upgrade, as this discussion has grown tiresome from being repeatedly.
  • Please do not make Revision Threads attempting to make the Bleach Memories of Nobody Movie Canon, based on the inclusion of the Valley of Screams on Chapter 627. This has been discussed twice before, and rejected until new official statements come from Tite Kubo or other official sources (such as Shueisha or Studio Pierrot).
 
so you'd rather follow a mistranslation about some "flow of souls" and chain reaction than try to make sense of the feat by using the correct translation and recent revelations in the novels? No wonder this place is not taken seriously anywhere else lol

Just going to say that Bleach's novel material kinda isnt posted in any actual CRT's for everyone to see. Only in very few discussion threads and not everyone should have to go through a witch hunt to find stuff just for consideration.

But whatever. This is already derailing and it doesn't matter since the latter part of your reply clearly shows you have negative feelings toward this site. Bye.
 
Having negative feelings towards the site isn't at all a reason for banning people, unless they disrupt discussion and try to actively harm it.

A warning is the most that should be done here.
 
I don't think that this is enough evidence to say that they are socks.

That said, 5-B Bleach is banned by the discussion rules, so don't bring it up
 
Again, I am HEAVILY against them being banned. Give them a final warning, if they continue to attempt to upgrade Bleaxh, ban them. Yeah, they tried to upgrade to 5-B, after a message was likely posted in their discord telling them that the thread existed. Then they disagreed, and so they posted against it. What are the odds they read through every single rule the minute they sign up.

And? That doesn't make him a sock. As someone who is in many other VS forums, this site is VERY much disliked. And not entirely without reason. We make mistakes. Its nothing major, but some people don't like us and that is a FACT.

Ask the dozens of people who trashtalk this site in /r/whowouldwin, /r/CharacterRant, SpaceBattles and etc. but are still unbanned because they haven't broken major rules here. Heck, a couple of these dudes are even being cogitated for staff.
 
Exactly. We've had some pretty ******* stupid pages before. Remember 3-A Ribrianne? Many people found out about our site via Chuck the Cyber (word that is apparently not allowed by the filter) 's vid where he shows that has an example of us being dumb. For some people, that might be their only interaction with the site.
 
Seems like a lot more trouble than it's worth to keep those guys around if they have such negative thoughts about the wiki.

Eh, I've seen Dragon Ball fanboys bash the wiki for only having Xenoverse at 2-B.
 
@Shadow just ignore them. They're not worth our time if all they're gonna do is complain about stuff rather than just discuss why some characters are in a certain tier.
 
Yeah, that's ridiculous. I wouldn't say there's a bias against Bleach here. Lots of verses have troublesome CRTs.
 
How is saying "dont try it lol, if they ban you for trying correct a mistranslation affecting 5-b then this will get you perma banned." bannable? The only rule I can see for this is "don't be rude, obnoxious, unreasonable, or overly argumentative", but if you'd consider that message to violate that rule, then half the site would need to be banned for being rude/argumentative.
 
It's more about suspected obvious sockpuppets involving him and other two guys plus the very strong pro bleach-anti wiki bias they show.

He's using an argument that was used so many times that it's against the rules to bring it up and is now throwing a hissy fit about it.
 
Wait until they violate site rules then. If they disregard the rules for not creating threads about certain upgrades, or start spamming/vandalizing, or show themselves as undeniably being socks then start banning.

Some comments of bias in an open thread isn't very harmful, even if it is annoying.

@Wright Then warn and remind him that it's banned, and probably close the thread. If he continues to bring it up give him a 1 week ban.
