Can everybody please drop this discussion, so I can get the time to talk with the other bureaucrats in private about it?

Anyway, the actual issue here seems to be what I personally witnessed of Aizen being snarky in the Bleach thread despite promising to shape up, as well as not reacting well to the warning Matthew gave him.

That said, in retrospect, given their history, Matthew was probably a poor choice to give the warning without acting as a provocation.
 
@WB @Kukui 3rd reply is in context to disagreement on a revision thread which LAS specified in his 4th post. He is a bleach supporter so it does have merit not like he's making stuff up just to attack admins for no reason. It was originally a convo between 2 other people which was derailed. Not that big of a deal reguardless.
 
We should preferably keep all staff drama to PMs, yes.
 
Quick question (I'd preferably want only an admin or bureaucrat to answer, please). If someone has shapen up their behavior very well offsite, but they've been permabanned here (for good reasons I might add), would it be a bit asanine to ask for that ban to be shortened? I've been observing the person in question's behavior for some months now, and they seemed to have gotten all that out of their system (maybe/maybe not). I do believe they already got a second chance though, so I'm not sure.

I suppose that it depends on the extent of the offence that they were banned for.
 
The reasons were pretty bad:

Insulting staff, posting gore and NSFW content, and ignoring warnings (though this one is debatable since he said "lol OK", apparently not in a mockingly manner). He used to do the same thing on Hangouts but stopped after I asked him to. He even removed all such content from G+ if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if he was going through something back then or what? Considering Matt was the one to drop the banhammer, he can also vouch for Star. However, I don't think Matt would want him back even with improved behavior.

Edit: Not exactly asking for his ban to be lifted or even shortened, just asking if it'd be a bit too lenient to ask for it to be given his history.

Only the titles of the threads are the same though. It is theoretically possible that one of them was simply inspired by the first thread to ask something similar, or that they know each other.
 
I feel kind of bad about Jonathan, as he has told me that he has had severe personal problems, along with borderline mental illness, but he has behaved so horribly in the past (including likely uploading lots of pornography in my and Reppuzan's names) that I do not think that we can take any chances.
 
Even with personal problems sorry to say it isn't a legit reason to simply act like that otherwise if we let them run around this site will crash if we let our problems, mental illness get the better of us. Sometimes we can't help it cause its an illness we have to try to fix it and not wail just like that
 
To my defense, that behavior on the second link has no excuse, and I'm sorry. You have my word it won't happen again. The first one is not really an insult, I'm just replying to a question which is true if you go and look at the thread. Nobody bothered to reply to my counter-arguments.

What about making a blatantly wrong thread that uses obviously faulty math to try and mock the downgrades?

It straight-up lies with the math presented. His formula, if actually calculated, gives far higher results than what he claims it does.
