Revisiting Toneri's Moon Split

I meant that it wouldn't be a drastic downgrade for the characters. There are other 5-C feats.

It's a drastic downgrade for this feat itself, but that wasn't what I was referring to.
I know Damage. I was just joking around. Don't worry about it.

If naruto was downgraded to country-level the ramifications on the entire verse would be a catastrophe.
It's never too late for that. We could make a bet between who will be more downgraded by the end of the year, Naruto or Bleach.

Let's avoid any more comparisons between Bleach and Naruto, please.

yup i disagree
1. as far as calc in wiki is concerned using scene where the feat happened is far more reliable than other scenes
2. the body moved closer, yes they are two mass and each body will have his own gravitational pull, so yes the body can move together.
and there is also the scene where lot of naruto moved out of the distance made iirc, maybe i will get it but the distance there clearly showed it is more than 5 meters

What actually indicates the moons GBE was overcome?

The halves appear to get closer to each other as the movie goes on but that could just be inconsistencies, regardless, as far as I can see, there's no indication they got further apart from each other.

Neutral on this, but couldn't the Moon just drift back? I haven't seen the scene in a while so idrk

Another argument I've seen from people is that the pieces came together after being separated. That logic doesn't work because it implies that the two halves traveled 61.6 km in only a few seconds. With that kind of relative speed, they would have crashed instantly with a force that would have destroyed the majority of the Moon. Except we see that doesn't happen and the distance is constant throughout the fight.

In above shots, we see that the beam passes right behind the area where Kurama is fighting the Golem, and it is comparable to them in size. It is most certainly not kilometers wide, given that Kurama's size is portrayed between a several dozens to a couple hundred meters. This only goes to show further that the scene being used is inconsistent.
let me point out

the size of the crack is not the size of the beam, the moon was shown to move away from each other after the beam
1. this is immediately after the beam
2. the two halves seperating

Guys, we already heard enough jokes. Stay on topic from now on please.

It was fun at first, but now it's getting off track.

I find it interesting how this came right after the upscale thread but nonetheless, the OP makes sense to me and I agree.

Nothing indicates the GBE was broken,

The shots consistently show a far smaller distance than 61km

The Moon is 15% Hollow

Yeah, I completely agree with the OP. Using one shot from the moon is not nearly enough to prove a point (And regardless, isn't The Last famous for overexaggerating sizes?)
Anyway, inconsistent drawings definitely happened.

I never said it is the same size. Note how I added the images and said that the size is comparable and would still come out to be in kilometers.

If the two pieces were separate, then yeah, something indicates the GBE was broken.

If it was hollow, then the GBE is going to be lower than that of the real-world moon and likely comes out to High 6-A, but still.
