All I know is that they are all tech. No idea about its true origins. From these powerspheres that are manufactured by aliens in mass. But I can comfirm that they didn't come from a biological origin. Except Balak, that's the only exception.

Grab and absorb. Besides that Kizaru's beams and danmaku are useless against Retakka. As in, Retakka would passively absorb them when caught within his attacks.

Look over 3 quarters of the reasons y'all gave depends o Kizaru's light based abilities. You can never vote on reasons that have crumbled foundations.

Ever hear of Haki?
Yeah, good enough haki=Layers of Intangibility. This is why Akainu couldn't be hit by Marco and Vista despite them using Haki.
Even outside of that, Kizaru is beating Retak'ka over the head with a sizable speed advantage and having a true body he can just flip the switch on to beat Retak'ka over the head the old fashioned way and just ignore his Elemental Absorption even if it somehow had multi-layered NPI.

Kizaru has precog, can pierce or cut him and has arm haki that can negate his resistance

Also this was found in the weakness section of devil fruits:
"Logia Devil Fruit users are considered to be invincible by most, but this is far from the truth. Logia users are susceptible to attacks from elements that completely counter their own (fire being inferior to magma for instance, as it burns hotter). Some elements may force a Logia into their true physical body as their elemental form is rendered ineffective (rubber against lightning and water against sand). Logia users are also incapable of regenerating from injuries inflicted upon their real body."
You do know Retakka is 2 tiers higher than basic light manipulation right? (Cahaya<Solar<Gamma)

D: About the powers from the Dressrosa Arc that Doflamingo's officers have... are they pretty much just improved versions of the abilities that the Baroque Works members had (so like Ton Ton → Kiro Kiro, Beta Beta → Doru Doru, Buki Buki → Supa Supa, and Pamu Pamu → Bomu Bomu)? from TaokaS43
O: It's true that "superior" devil fruit abilities are a thing, but as of now, it's pretty much just these four pairs.
(Ton Ton > Kiro Kiro, Hie Hie > Yuki Yuki, Magu Magu > Mera Mera, Buki Buki > Supa Supa)
Though there are other fruit pairs out there that might make you wonder don't they pretty much do the same thing?, these abilities tend to be headed in different directions in terms of how they actually work or what they can do. Also, a superior ability does not necessarily equate to the character's strength. No ability alone guarantees victory in combat.

Fighting admirals that aren't Fujitora is a losing game mate, better off just using like, Whitebeard. Or a logia user that doesn't have advanced ******* Busōshoku like Borsalino does. Even then it can be bad.
In fact, have some suggestions of people who aren't that ******* nuts in Intangibility.
Dracule Mihawk: His haki and especially skill might be nuts but at least he isn't going to be impossible to hit.
Kaido: Big thing to watch out for with Kaido is his NUTS haki and even more N U T S Stamina and endurance.
Doffy: "Wait, he's not High 6-A!" And to that I say, yes, but his piercing with Parasito Sure as **** is.
Eustass Kidd: DO NOT throw him at someone who has a lot of metal on their person, he will bully them HARD. Otherwise have fun.
Scratchmen Apoo: Hes pushing it on the fair characters but eh, Automatic attacks or not he's not ungodly strong physically.
Roger: Ditto Mihawk in terms of stuff.
Sengoku: Godlike Haki and a damn good DF, sounds like a good match for Most folks
Garp: Same as Sengoku sans the DF except... ya know...
