REMATCH - Tanya Degurechaff (Youjo Senki) vs Ruby Rose (RWBY)

Once more similar conditions as before now that everything seems to be all set on both profiles. So let's do this again!

Round 1 - Treated as the standard match. Minor information about the other. Tanya starts airborne above a village 20 meters in the air. Ruby starts 20 meters away in terms of horizontal distance. Go crazy and fight.

Round 2 - Same as above but with speed equalized and Tanya on foot.

Round 3 - Ruby gets prep time. Tanya doesn't. Speed equalized.

Round 4 - Tanya gets prep time. Ruby doesn't. Same Vertical distance.

Round 5 - Both gets prep time and starts off on the ground 50 meters away from each other.

The gap isnt that big cough Garnet vs Meiling. And it is a battle where their strongest moves are at town level (for Ruby and Tanya) while their lesser moves are on a lower tier. Ruby has more advantage on the lesser attacks while Tanya has a more effective ultimate attack.

It seems even in that regard. Not to mention the speed issue if not equalized in certain situations makes the battle more complicated.

Meilling was high-end enough island to make it fair. Ruby is low-end MCB and her strongest attack is small town.

Also, Silver Eyes are inapplicable for combat anyway, given the serious lack of control Ruby has over them.

Round 1: Ruby blitzes

Round 2: Stomp, Town level vs Multi-City Block level

Round 3: Ruby takes Tanya out before she can get her barriers up.

Round 4: Stomp, Town level vs Multi-City Block level

Round 5: Stomp, Town level vs Multi-City Block level

@Cropfist

And her with no capability to handle hax vs someone with haxx and resistance?

@Everlasting

Even if OP says so it's not usable?

@Weekly

I've seen people argue better in similar conditions. To specify Tanya needs to charge up for that Town level attack before Ruby can get to her but can spam Building level attacks. It presents opportunities for one to finish off the other.

@COB Even if the OP says Silver Eyes is allowed, Ruby still cant use it, she doesnt know how

Charge up or not Ruby isnt getting past Town level barriers and one Town level attack will kill her

Right, even if I put the right circumstances to use it? That's not sarcasm btw in case it comes off as that. Legitimately asking.

Her barrier isn't town level. Her barrier's defense depends on how much she charges into it. But of course she can't just keep depending with a town level barrier since she needs to go on the offense too.

With the Type-95 she can do multiple things at once because of the 4 magical cores.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure Ruby won't win any of them, even the one where she has the prep time. I severly doubt that Ruby would be shooting to kill, and the barrier that Tanya uses has a passive version which activates automatically that can easily block regular arms fire. Seeing as how mages in Tanya's world are taught to always use an altitude advantage when you can, Tanya would just fly up and away as soon as she saw that she was fighting a grounded enemy. Then she can take her time firing tracking bunker busters at Ruby all day. Ruby can't do anything to counter flight.
