Yeah and if i remember correctly people didn't seem to acknowledge it as an actual point because it wasn't on his profile, and then started scaling soul hax resistance of the entire LDO to methuselah despite that being a clear outlier to say Eleonore could get past resistance to Angra Mainyu's soul hax. Additionally, Gilgamesh's soul resist at this point is debatably 4D from his ability to resist Tiamat's mud for a time, which is a four dimensional pocket dimension in and of itself.

People also argued that Eleonore could use her own weapons to counter Gilgamesh's blade spam despite the fact that Eleonore has never shown gun spam even close to the sheer level of Gilgamesh's own.

People also argued that Nasuverse souls and masadaverse souls were different and thus you couldn't scale soul hax potency between the two despite that not being how soul hax potency has ever been treated on this site.

Is the argument about resisting her attacks due to Angra Mainyu? I am pretty sure those are two different things. One is about destroying your mind. The other is about smashing, burning, poisoning and/or draining your soul.

The soul resistance argued on the first thread came from Angra, which our profiles list as its 6 billion curses that gil bathed in being able to melt the soul.

For some reason, Eleonore's soul potentcy was all scaled affecing other LDO who were apparently resisting Methuselah's soul hax even though that's A) a major outlier for anyone not being empowered by Reinhard, and B) Meth was pretty much playing with everyone in the LDO except Machina who he just threw away.

That doesn't really matter now, because now Gil's resistance scales to surviving the Chaos Tides for a bit, and the Chaos Tides are 4D pocket dimensions used by Tiamat

Gilgamesh's blade spam should be able to be evaded. Wilhelm can release tens of thousands of his stakes which can be dodged multiple times in verse. I think people said "soul hax works differently" because in Masadaverse it isn't just about quantity of soul it's about quality. Like a high quality soul can eclipse thousands of normal souls and so on.
