You either are something, or are nothing. Being|Non-Being, however it's very different from dead and life. It's called dualism, binary prefixes of reality. Outside that process, there is only 1 and 0.
Let's say a door, it can't be open and closed at the same "time" since obviously it's not even a door if that actually happens . A true void is just closed for all eternity, since all attributes that one perceived in the "original" reality are non-applicable in this truth. The only exception is that someone may force you into there by their own power.
