Record Of Ragnarok Discussion Thread #1

Well Midgard is one at the very least and unless Chronos was the Guardian of Midgard for some reason, the space and time in his title probably refers to Heaven.

Eh, judging by how this guy's been described, he probably deserves the L...
Ignoring the fact that Apollo winning would still be a Greek L I agree with you. Something tells me that they combined all the filth of the offscreen Greek Gods and removed/ignored Apollo's status as a God of Medicine.

For what it's worth I have one piece of evidence besides my instincts: Athena is a Goddess of War and hasn't even been mentioned in the story.

I don't know why they put this as a spoiler.

RoR has always not cared much for characters outside of the 13 human and god fighters.

There are some exceptions like Bruhilde and Goll, and Ares and Hermes. But they are mostly talking characters.

Not even those who should be powerful like Adamas are relevant. It's no surprise gods who won't be at Ragnarok matter so much. I wouldn't be surprised if Amaretaru or Ra were quoted or shown as just unimportant secondary characters (Even though they're supposed to be the leaders of the panthions)

For example, we know that Anubis is going to fight, but so far we know nothing, absolutely nothing about the Egyptian Pantheon, in another 70 chapters we know nothing. And for the case of the Japanese Pantanal, surprisingly we have almost nothing (Bishamonten and etc are kind of don't count, they aren't even from Japan in RoR).

@Sparkive
I'm planning on getting back to that reviewing profile thing. Could you help me with some things?

The most annoying part is putting scans and references, and it would be nice to have someone to help me like that.

For example, you would put Thor's profile (or his P&A section) in a sanbox, put the scans or skill references, and then give me the code.

I think the next ones would be Thor (probably just scans and references), Jack, Raiden and Shiva.

Just the P&A?
I think I can do it

Scans added to Thor's profile.
Air Manipulation (Is able to generate powerful blows of wind with a swing of Mjölnir)
Does anyone know where this is from? It doesn't even have a reference for me to see and get a scan.

I think it might come from the gust of wind came from the "Thor's Hammer" technique, but I don't know.

If so, then I could post the scan. And obviously on some crt this would have to be put as limited (I won't make a crt just for a very small skill)

iirc Thor killed one of the giants by just swinging his hammer and not making contact with it.

Something extremely common in several anime and manga. Someone hitting or cutting something from a distance because it's "nice".

Whether this is the result of the wind or not, I don't know.

It sucks chasing scans for the P&A section.

Mainly because of Arang Scan with bad translation, I have to go over everything to a fellow translator to see if Arang didn't make something up or remove it.

I just wanted to put references, but it looks so ugly without any blue links to click on.

I assume it's from this panel in chapter 5

Here is a list of calculations used in the wiki profiles of RoR (at the moment ignoring if they are correct, we can change that as their recalculations or similar are accepted)

Attack Potency & Durability

Speed

Lifting Strength

  1. The Feat of the wooden door of Heracles happens in chapter 23, within the profile it links to a common feat. The door and its remains are not visible at any time, so I assumed the fragmentation result, which is the lowest possible. If someone can define if it is one of the highest results, say so.
  2. The one with the clouds and Lu Bü was apparently never accepted, but it is being used
  3. The one about the weight of Mjolnir is wrong and in fact someone already recalculated the feat at the time (I think), if the creator of the recalculation can send the link, I would be grateful

By the way, while reviewing I noticed that the following links are down:
Lu Bü : Resistance to electricity Proof
Thor: tear apart the land and seas, as well as able to shatter the Eart

It was done by a member of the calculation group. Need to be accepted by another member of the calculation group?

I don't understand much about calculus. But it's mostly wrong because of Thor's height.

In the calculation Thor is 288cm but his official height is 220cm.

I found this calculation from @Cyber_VERGIL

But it has not yet been evaluated.

Lubu's didn't see the Spin-off so I don't know what chapter it's in.

I can solve Thor's tomorrow (in this case for me in about 12 hours)

Thanks a lot for this Sparkive, it helped a lot. Thank's for your time.

@SamanPatou Is it necessary some kind of crt to update the back page to put the calculations? If not then I'll post it in 12 hours.

Before I fix Thor's scans, I'm going to look at the original in Japanese. Since in an official translation there is no such part of "departing lands and seas". But it will take time, as a colleague of mine who has these scans in Japanese and who translates (seriously, I think he has the entire series in Japanese saved)

Mjolnir Weight - 20072.521 kg (Class 50)
It seems that even this calculation was not accepted.

The stats section should be just as bad as the P&A section.

1. Who is affected by this? I imagine Zero, Hajun and Buddha
I was thinking of something like this for who scales:
Zero and Hajun (obviously)
Buddha (physically stronger than Zero and can push the misery cleaver into the air after blocking it)
Thor (stated to be the physically strongest god)
LuBu (comparable to base Thor)
Raiden (Has the strongest muscles in human history)
I'd also imagine people like Zeus and Hades should also scale but i don't really have a justification for that
2. Do you have any problems with us using it, or do you have any plans with the calculation?
Nah feel free to use it
