Record Of Ragnarok Discussion Thread #1

The profiles are going to be tricky to properly tier, unfortunately.

Take Zeus, for example: we have no idea how hard his Fist That Surpasses Time hits, and we only know he was around during the Big Bang so arguably scales to that as well as having the powers of creation/existence erasure and allegedly being able to destroy Heave .

Adam scales to all that for fighting him but only due to copying him, so Adam would be a practical Unknown tier since Eyes of the Lord lets him just copy physicals and abilities seemingly without a cap.

Lu Bu we have at potentially Mountain from calcs, even though he fought the strongest God.

Thor we have his statement comparing him to myth Thor, but he was fighting solidly against Lu Bu (possible argument for Mountain-tier normally, jumps a few tiers up with Geirrod???)

Poseidon we have almost nothing to even calc or scale off of.

3-A to anywhere above baseline because of it's size that it's unknown.

If it would be 4-D then Low 2-C thanks to its space-tine continuum.
 
Okay, fair enough. It's kinda implied with Loki he can manipulate matter when creating the glass, but I say we wait till his battle.
 
we got any profile pages yet? what kind of speed range we're dealing with outside from adam? do we scale the other humans and gods to adam vs zeus fight?
 
No one really scales to Zeus or Adam yet, unless you want to wank stuff about Poseidon

By wank I mean being called the god of gods, his full strength is unknown to all the gods and the other gods fear him.
 
Only part from what people scale from Zeus vs. Adam is the first attack made by Zeus, reason is that Ares was no surprissed by it when he was when Kojirou made his rising slash (And thus, it would scale to Poseidon too). Wouldn't scale anything else aside from Thor > Lubu, but they do not possesses speed feat by themself (Ares wasn't there to evaluate).
 
Okay. Cause I know he has the power of creation. I was wondering cause the Garden of Eden was said to or at least implied to be infinite in size. And Shiva thought that Zeus could destroy heaven. And if the Garden of Eden is part of Heaven then this could be a good feat for Zeus and Adam.
 
Okay, so I started reading Record of Ragnarok and tbh I haven't seen any noticeable feat that isn't just statment. Is it that I am missing something or it's just that their feats are just statement based and are not backed up by anything else? Yes, I saw the Zeus' Big Bang statement.

I am just in chapter 8 though.
 
Yeah, there's no much AP feats, simple statements that are quite vague. The only one is performed by Lu Bu.
 
Yeah there is no actual feat, I ment statement. But all the Statements seem to be consistant being in the Universal-Universal+ range.

Existed before and survived the big bang.

Beat the personification of time and took his power over all of the time.

Adam's punch surpassed time which he survived and later Zeus becomes stronger than his time punch and surpassed time Adam. (Adam was dealing with everything casually until he went diamond form, first time he put his gaurd up against Zeus was described to the instinct of living beings when threatened).

Was thought by Shiva that he could destroy Heaven (which was shown to have countless stars and could possibly include the Garden of Eden which is implied/said to be infinite).
 
It wasn't said that he survived directly the Big Bang, just that it was there when it happened (as far we known, he and the other gods where in the heaven).
 
That is true. To me, based on how it was portrayed and said it seemed that he had experenced it and also the fact its manga based on fighting, it would make sense for it being him experencing and surviving it (to me at least).

I dont think it's any of this

  • Do not link to or promote anything illegal within the Wiki. Linking to scams of any sorts is obviously strongly forbidden and will lead to an immediate ban.

Imagine being in the stands of the tournament, with every other human throughout history and possibly other dimensions or timelines watch the gods vs some people. What happens after to all the people who weren't dead or souls at the time? Do they just go back to living their lives knowning what they witnessed?

Also, who do you think the two main valkyries (Geir and Bruhilde) will assist in the tournament? Assuming they'll be needed?
 
What sort of hax would it be to wipe a person from history? Since a god/the gods were able to wipe Adamas from history.

Don't think that was an unconventional erasure, bit rather they just wipe him out from the records, few gods and demigods still remember him.
 
Yeah, ValhallaScans takes its time with doing translation, and for some reason with the manga that I read (Caterpillar and Ragna Crimson for example). Expect translations in the first week of August.
 
They did say that they want to make it monthly due to the translations being close to the raws and stuff. So we just need to be patient. At least we know what we can expect, some translations of my series are spontaneous and range from 2 chapters a week to months of nothing.

I agree with Anton on this history thing btw. Classic erasing from history books. MAYBE memory manip at best.
 
Yeah I noticed that some gods still remembered about, whereas some didn't (mostly the god of war and his brother remembered). I always thought it was just erasing him from human history and from some of the gods too. Since humans only believed in 12 olympian gods.
