Hello there, this revision is not much about God tiers of the verse, but rather Low and Mid tiers of it. Aka Characters who are not Ness, Dark Dragon and Giygas.
Without further ado:
Speed
The speed is quite simple, we have an Subsonic from Ninten's feat where he runs long distance for supposedly short time period, the problem is feat is well... a game mechanic.
Simple as that, you know those moments in game when your character is small in a big map, for 80s for instance, Legend of Zelda 2, Final Fantasy 1, Dragon Quest and etc.? Mother 1 doesn't makes an exception right there and feat requires us to use a map, which has inaccuracies for calculation.
Not only that, but feat also doesn't makes sense in context, you see, having that high speed will imply one of the most controversial things. Average speed of an passenger train is 26.38 meters per second according to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_speed_limits_in_the_United_States
This will mean that Ninten runs literally almost twice as fast as a train he himself uses for a fast travel, making the feat quite outlier-ish even if it's possible to measure it.
What will be new speed rating? Superhuman
In Earthbound characters can outrun (or at least be similar in speed to) Grizzly Bears whose average speed can reach 35 mph or 15.65 meters per second. So that should fit more.
In addition at least Earthbound characters can AMP their speed by Skip Sandwiches which should give them "higher with Skip Sandwich" rating
Lifting Strength
That one is also simple, basically Ness can lift a submarine with Jeff and Paula. Problem is we don't have any idea of how exactly heavy the submarine is, how do we compensate it?
Simple, we're using lowest and highest ends possible and dividing them by 3, rating should be like this: " At least Class 25, at most Class M (Able to lift a submarine alongside Paula and Jeff, the smallest weight of Submarine is 35 tons, while the largest weight is 48,000 tons, meaning that to lift Submarine with Jeff and Paula, Ness have to be able to lift 11.6 tons to 16,000 tons)" and similar to other characters.
That's all for now.
