Question on Vergil

Hey, does anyone mind telling me where Vergil has shown his "Immunity to hostile telepathy/illusions"? I'm writing a fight with him and I think it'd give him a bit of an advantage.

iirc in the DMC 3 Manga Vergil was attacked by illusions and such but he broke through with Yamato
