Story: In order to reach the title of World Greatest Swordsman and reach to Mihawk, Zoro have to become stronger and luckily for him, there are plenty of other swordsmen he can test his skill with.

Okay, after going through a LOT of profiles I've found the feat that GG scales to. 58KT for one of those spaceships (sorry if I become heretic, I really don't care about SW anyway). I don't know the food chain for Grievous either.

The chain for Zoro is like this:

EL Base Zoro > EL Base Sanji > Blueno >= EL Base Luffy > Franky > Kumadori > Chopper >= Fukurou > Nami > Kalifa > WS Luffy > WS Zoro > Skypiea Luffy >> Enel > Skypiea Zoro > Skypiea Sanji > 65 Kilotons.

That depends. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Grievous has a scaling chain behind him making him scale above the 58KT as well. Even if it's not as big as Zoro's, I think they might be even.

I think that Zoro would have a huge edge because as far as I know Grievous lacks any kind of ranged combat while Zoro can literally spam out sword slashes.

So Zoro would just need to keep Grievous at a distance for that to work. Though Grievous might have the ability to simply block/deflect these sword beams with his lightsabers.

Even if GG have four arms, Zoro once fought against an opponent with six arms. He was doing decently against Hachi who had 6 swords, while Zoro only had 1 (iirc, pre-timeskip he wasn't as good as one sword style as he was with three sword style), then once Zoro got 3 swords, he stomped Hachi. Not to mention Zoro also did okay against Kaku who used 4 swords...

If this is in-character, then Zoro would take this as Grievous in Disney Canon to me didn't has that many good canon feats, he's a coward who mostly runs away and is easily disarmed by Obi-Wan with some timing. Even counting the Clone Wars series he isn't that impressive even at his best moments. I hope I remember correctly.

You are remembering it correctly, yes. Fighting evenly with precog users should be something more discussed here than stuff like the amount of arms and swords they have tho.
