If what Eggman said about infinite universes is just in this version of the script, and not in a cutscene in the game, then it can't be used.

Yeah, unfortunately it looks like it can't be usable since that part of the script wasn't put into the cutscenes.

btw also there was no "released" script...... it's exclusive stuff and the people who wrote that stuff on gamefaq. neoseeker and etc didn't leave in the entire context of the story, they even stated they "updated" it..........

And no, it was the script for the game, but that script was edited and the one in Sonic 06 is the real script of the game, where there are no infinite multiverse statements.

Maybe if it at least got actually released in some way, but just a sneak peek of some ideas that were cut from the actual version simply can´t be applicable, as they didn´t happen at all to begin with.

Yeah the original script is just an outline made for planning in the development stages. It would have to be in the actual cutscenes or the official guide book to be usable.
