Possible Ki Manipulation page? (Dragon Ball)

A page for DB's ki is unnecessary, our page of Chi Manipulation already cover the essence of what ki is.

Is normal that character can use its chi usage to perform different application, in which case with simply add it like "Chi Manipulation including Fire Manipulation, Flight, Invisibility, etc."

Chi Manip is just a subsystem kind of power, used mostly at the moment to determinate weaknesses, resistances, energy supplies, etc.

at this point we likely debate a page for DBH ki system cause they have hella lot of abilities

@Nullflowerblush I mean, Magic does even have more complex uses, such as Transmutation, Mind manipulation, Sealing, Life-force absorption, corruption thanks to Dark Magic from Towa, Mira, etc..., Ilusion creation, elemental manipulation, such as Moro's Magma manipulation, or Moro's fire manipulation, Magic materialization (create things out of thin air).

A Verse-specific-powers-and-ability page could help a long way in creating an explanation for separating Ki from Magic so these back and forth don’t keep reoccurring, as they always seem to keep happening when discussing Dragon Ball’s abilities.

This has literally only happened once to my knowledge. And, people don't need an explanation as to why ki and magic are separate. Every canon page with noteworthy magic separates ki from magic (i.e., Babidi, Moro). This is not a good argument in favor of a page.

By itself, and it’s happened(Magic & Ki) several times across the internet and will continue to happen without there being a verse-specific-powers-and-abilities section to redirect people to for information.

There are several reasons for the page presented in this thread alone (not to mention the point of being an indexing wiki).

Dragon Ball is gonna remain as one of the verses needing to reexplain themselves several times when people question why the nature of their Power System is what it is since they don’t have a Verse-Specific-Powers-and-Ability page to redirect people to.

No explanation about Dragon Balls’ Ki, it’s nature, the skill to master over it and various applications/abilities that it could be used as.

I believe the application of ki is the issue here.

While yes Ki is universal, the way it's used is not. Not everyone can use it in the same way when they learn how to use it and the level of mastery is also sometimes confusing with cases like Videl. Like, how some users can fly but not shoot beams and vice versa.

If I'm not mistaken, when you use chaos energy from Archie basically everyone would have similar abilities to yourself if use they as well, correct? That, in and of itself, would warrant a powers and abilities page for it since everyone would be able to use the same abilities as anyone else who uses it.

However, ki is a different story since abilities are too versatile for each character and aren't universal and could be different. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know too much about Sonic and Chaos Energy so I could be wrong here.)

An explanation page like @Nullflowerblush suggested would definitely be better than a power and abilities page imo.

Nah i'm not against DB manga and anime verse get a page for their Ki manip (as show they wider range of usage than just Chi Manipulation). But aside from some DB supporter agree with it, most other people and staff will just disagree
