Pokemon Profile Making 101

Yo! I was noticing that some Unova Pokémon were missing on this wiki. Here's a list... But where should I start? Is there a template I could use to create a profile with?

Examples of the missing Unova Pokémon include Excadrill, Jellicent, and even Chandelure.

I plan on making draft profiles for these mons, but I should probably need a few pointers before so. If you guys would like to help me make these profiles, that'd be awesome.

The best piece of advice I can give you is to follow the same structure of other profiles. Profiles like Lucario and Yanmega are ones that I'd recommend to look at. Second stage Pokemon and weaker one stage Pokemon (e.g. Heatmor) scale to High 7-C now with Massively Hypersonic+ speed; check out Gengar or Charizard's profiles to see the proper justifications.

ArbitraryNumbers has a template blog right here, though I think he's still working on it.

In short, use the links above for the structure, and for the abilities, scan through the Pokemon's movepool, abilities, type resistances and skim through its pokedex entries, anime appearances and spin-offs on Bulbapedia to make sure nothing's been missed out. IQ skills aren't a thing post-gen 4 mystery dungeon so you don't have to worry about that.
