So from what I heard the reason for why Sephiroth's Supernova is considered valid and not an outlier is that it take place in a pocket reality. Wouldn't that mean Sephiroth has Pocket Reality Manipulation and BFR?

It's considered not an outlier For other reasons. Also I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have BFR since From what I've seen said pocket dimension seems to only stay around For super nova

But after Sephiroth destroyed all the planets in his pocket dimension, he recreate all the planets just to use his Supernova move again.
