On the subject of disease intelligence, Brutal Mode is explicitly supposed to be for "Strategic Geniuses living in Bunkers", which, while mostly a joke, is pretty accurate for the world of Mega Brutal, in which the entire world has OCD Hand Washing, Doctors who never sleep, and existing as a sick person is a crime. And that's not even going into Mega Brutal. The Virus can get through all of these.

That was just exaggeration for comedy I'm pretty sure.

But it s not really genius to do that. The tactics are pretty easy as far as logic goes, definitly not above average human. The abilities the diseases have is what makes it possible, not some grand Keikaku
