In the most recent update as of 4/29/22, Richard Spender was confirmed to be moving at lightspeed when undergoing Spirit Fusion. The longer he stays in that form, the more light-based and spectral his body becomes, and when moving, can be a "streak of light zigzagging through the sky"
The series is likely to become solidly town level in this and the coming updates as well, as King Catnine is capable of destroying the town of Mayview, but cannot with the barrier being in the way
