Benimaru dashes towards the first Boom Primid, while waving around Seija's danmaku thanks to Generalissimo allowing him to know the position of each projectile and predict their movements.
Once up close to the boomeran thrower, he enhances his katana with Black Flare and slashes at the throat on the enemy, with the intent to decapitate him.

The shadow bugs begin to transform.
"Alright, that's it. I'm getting rid of this thing!"
Merak creates a wormhole. The mass grabs onto the sides of the portal and then fires a shot at Merak, knocking him out in one attack and closing the wormhole.

The mass continues regenerating, each Regenerationn making it more rigid and giving it more of a true form. Suddenly, Gunvolt shows up.
"We can't close the Subspace portal. This location has been compromised. We have some ships ready. We'll send most of the soliders to an alternate planet. We'll need some wormholes, Mera..."
Gunvolt sees Merak knocked out.
"Alright, change of plans. Run. I'll hold back the monster for a bit and catch up with you. You have some escorts to assist you in reaching the ship. Get to where you exited from, they'll tell you where to go!"
Gunvolt thinks for a moment.
"Also, someone grab Merak."

You meet up with two soliders. Gunvolt just gestures them to run with him. The base seems to be crumbling from the attack. A few enemies appear, but GV casually zaps them with electricity [Remember, he's 7-C at this point]. Eventually you reach the ship. It's suprisingly large. A door opens.
