I absolutely love this series. Here are some powers I have to offer, but their usage could be quite dubious or completely inapplicable to everyday use (or even special occasions)

Here I'll establish some standard assumptions and rules:
  • If I didn't established any form of limitations or low/high ends - you're allowed to use these powers in the most NLF'y ways possible (preferably describe them)
  • Real world physics and science don't apply to these powers, unless stated otherwise
  • Nobody in the world won't pay attention to/won't be interested in your new abilities and they'll just casually accept them as it is, without trying to figure out it's nature (unless people's reactions are specified or if it's stated otherwise in some scenarios)
  • This thread is mostly in "yes or no" format. So you won't have to choose only one, but you can't stack them either (basically just describe your ways you can utilize those powers, if you would take them)
  1. 100 layers of fear resistance
  2. FTL travel and combat speed, but physics are applied and without using this power you're restricted to your own capabilities in that regard
  3. Type 2 info manipulation, but you can use it only one time in 50 years
  4. Resistance to reality warping
  5. Pain resistance negation (not layered)
  6. Durability negation, but your LS gets 2 times weaker
  7. Shapeshifting, but physics are applied and your physical stats won't change
  8. Conceptual manipulation, but you can only manipulate concepts of the projects (like concept arts, character concepts and etc) and not the ones that are fundamental for our world
  9. Hair manipulation, but physics are applied and they become more sensitive
  10. Intangibility, but you can't turn it off
  11. Spatial manipulation, but every time you manipulate something with this power - this place grows mold on/in it
  12. Building level durability and Attack Potency, but every single move and physical action you do will have comparable Destructive Capacity, that you can't decrease
  13. Enhanced senses, but they can be easily overwhelmed by something slightly above normal (for example screams would be heard like an alarm to you)
  14. Logic Manipulation, but you lose 10 iq points whenever you use it
  15. Toon Force, but you have durability of mosquito and lack reality warping
  16. Fate manipulation, but it's applicable only to media with word "fate" on it's name
  17. 10 layers of resistance to Soul Manipulation
  18. Resistance to Toon Force
  19. Creation, but you have to destroy something in order to create (it must be comparable in size or weight)
  20. Negation of Regen, up to Mid
  21. Acausality type 2
  22. Resistance to Madness Manipulation and Empathic Manipulation, but you're more susceptible to Disease manipulation (aka, infections)
  23. Statistics reduction, but it's temporary and you can only reduce your own stats
  24. Thought activated Free movement, but you have to pay 100 dollars whenever you use it (not so free I guess)
  25. Self-destruction that could range from Wall level to Continental level, but you die
  26. Danmaku, but it scales to your Attack potency in the moment you use it and there's 70% your enemy/opponent would have Homing attacks against you specifically (basically you couldn't dodge their hits)
  27. Power nullification
  28. Thought based BFR, but every week on random day you will wake up in random place (100% guaranteed survival though)
  29. Resistance to Deconstruction
  30. Fear Inducing aura, but it's green and have flies

I take Logic Manipulation and make it so subtraction becomes addition and addition becomes subtraction. Making me smarter every time I use my powers.

How does the construction works? It's like construction IRL or is magical construction?
It's like, materialising things out of your imagination, but you need to destroy/break something similar in size or weight to materialize it in the first place. For example: you want to get a pen, you break a pencil and now you can materialize a pen

Okay, I buy lead and turn into gold then

No downsides to this. Obviously you can bypass the 50 year cooldown with info manip, but I assume the point of this thread is you can't get rid of the downside otherwise this'd be too easy.

If you're immortal, the cooldown won't matter. Really the only question is how many things could I change at once with the info manip? Could I make myself and everyone I care about immortal at once, or is it an individual target thing? I suppose if it's limited to one thing I could use a later usage of it to increase the range/targets of it up to an infinite amount anyways.

First usage is to make me (or everyone if that's a possibility) immortal (In the aging sense at least). Second usage is contingent on if my info manip is broad or specific. If I can affect all of humanity by using it for example (by removing the fundamental idea of aging) then this is pointless. If not, I'd wish to broaden my target to any amount I want per usage. If not, I'd use it to make me (and a particular selection of people of my choosing) have greatly enhanced/super human capabilities. Effectively all of the usual capabilities of a human being taken to the extreme (strength, durability, regenerative ability, tolerance to toxins, etc). I don't trust humanity as a whole enough to give everyone that, but I do trust us enough to make everyone immortal. That way living or dying is actually more of a choice rather than fate (Since you could still die of physical trauma should you wish to).

Past that I think I'm set tbh. Everything beyond that would just be luxuries or ending things like hunger worldwide by creating an unlimited food supply. Same for water I suppose. Handle global warming too. Idk, stuff that is generally helpful. I just don't plan to change anything that involves imposing my will on other people (i.e. changing people's political ideologies or any other moral changes) since I don't like breaching other people's bodily/mental autonomy. Just something I personally strongly reject.

The creation one is good too, yeah. Tho I was a bit confused on how "destroyed" something has to be for it to count towards the amount of mass I can create. Would splitting a boulder in half count as destroyed? Do I need to fragment it? Vaporize it? Ionize it? Atomize it? Etc.

Anyways the ideal play seems like smashing ice or rocks until you have enough mass to create a sizeable bomb. Then just explode stuff with the created explosion to earn more "creation" points back then you spent. The rules on it are a bit weird tho, so I went for the more straightforward info manip.

I interpreted it as a sort of spatial swap or matter conversion, as in, you don't have to physically destroy the counterpart, but its existence is replaced with that of the object you want to create.

Ah, I didn't think of it that way. I thought you had to physically break 1 kg of rock to summon 1 kg of material (or 1 cubic meter for 1 cubic meter since size also matters for it apparently) or smth because all of the powers have tedious trade offs. Now I'm not sure.

Fragmentation is enough. And yes, you need to destroy something physically or use weapons for said destruction

Also I want to point out one more thing - it's thread doesn't limit you to one specific power. You can describe how would you use any power that you chosen, but you can't make builds with them like in my previous thread

I'll list my picks:
  1. Yes, even though it's overkill
  2. Yep, I don't have to use it, but it's a safe way to instantly end your life (most likely gonna use it if I get shit like rabies or any other life-ruining condition)
  3. Yep, I'm deleting the concept of suffering, wait for 50 years (which I might actually survive) and remove one more negative aspect of out existence
  4. I'm taking it, there's no downsides, also imagine people actually achieve this and I could not get affected by ****** up bullshit
  5. Yep, there's a chance I'd face someone who lacks pain or taken strong painkillers, with said negation I could make them give up fighting much earlier
  6. Taking it, I'll get hella weak, but I still can improve my PR to be at least "normal", but with dura neg I could box anyone, no matter how strong they are. Imagine punching down a hippo, despite being massively weaker than it
  7. No, I'm not risking it, can't really predict how dangerous it would be to turn into different species
  8. Yep, I'm gonna influence a lot of corporate slop and make it a little bit creative
  9. No, sensitivity is gonna screw me over
  10. No, even though I'm not sure if I'm gonna fall through the earth and be stick in the core
  11. I'm taking it and screwing over some REALLY bad criminals (like sean combs, iykyk) and probably some countries
  12. Nah, I don't want to be building level fodder and no amount of outliers gonna make it safe to use
  13. Lowkey want to improve some of my senses, but I'll go insane from overstimulation. So no
  14. I'm talking it, gonna use it until my IQ drops to 90 which is quite average
  15. I'm a durability merchant, hell no
  16. Not taking, I don't know nearly enough series with word "Fate" in it to really care about their writing
  17. Yes, I'm curious how it would apply to real life
  18. Yep
  19. Absolutely taking it, gonna materialize some RAM and phones from breaking ice
  20. No, I don't know any living creatures with regen that I'd want to hurt that badly
  21. Yep, now my own fate is only in my hands
  22. No
  23. I have anger issues, so I would decrease my stats to crashout safely
  24. I'm taking it and going broke
  25. I have no idea which world problems I could solve by exploding myself, so I'm gonna pass on this
  26. Taking it, I'm already have good enough endurance to tank punches, but now I'm absolutely frying like 90% of my enemies from all my lifetime
  27. Taking, there's no downsides and I'm gonna experiment with it a lot
  28. No, I don't want to wake up in Skyrim eventually
  29. Taking it, there's no downside
  30. Hell nah

I feel like this is a double-edged sword because suffering is a natural part of every life. Bad moments are what allow the good moments to exist. Otherwise we'd essentially be happy npc drones, no? We'd be sentient I guess, just less sentient since we're completely locked out of a physical or mental experience.

Well, if there's a chance it would negatively affect others in the long run/some way - I'll just apply it to myself only. I can't take any amounts of struggle normally, at all. Better be a happy NPC, than tormented NPC

I guess it's moreso confusing because "suffering" is vague. It can be interpreted in a way where it makes it hard to do a lot of normal every day things but it kinda just comes down to how deleting the concept affects the world in the process.

Honestly I thought I would bring way more good than bad to our world. Our world building is literally built this way, that NOTHING can escape the suffering in any way, shape or form (food chain is one of such examples, some creatures are literally forced to kill other creatures so they won't die themselves. And there way more stuff that makes this atrocious, if you think about it). I hate the fact that world is built the way to make suffering and torment ESSENTIAL part of it, that is currently can't be avoided. Even if we take away the nature's/god's fault in it - humanity still can't stop screwing itself and other living beings over and over again, throughout our history. Humanity still kills and trotures themselves, humanity still forces nearly anyone into lifestyle with difficulties, while the richest of the richest don't give a damn about that, humanity still abuses anyone (and even their own children) it can get, humanity committed crap ton of genocides and was responsible for extinction of many species, humanity still can't get rid off useless discrimination and hatred towards it's own people, and I can go on and on about that

I don't trust humanity to resolve these problems themselves, it screwed itself over way too many times and never came close to it. It failed in that regard continuously. I don't think even Mahek's approach would be worse, than what we always had. Even if it's violates free will to some extent, we at least could be sure, nobody could ever hurt each other and themselves, there no longer would be any unavoidable and forced torment from mere existence. I also see the problems that his approach might be way too subjective, so I'd like to just erase the concepts that affect our world in specific ways, rather than rewrite living beings directly

I believe if I remove the concept of suffering - it still would be a step in the right direction, even thought there's probably way more fundamental concepts, that I'm unaware of. I want to ensure the world won't be as brutal, sadistic, atrocious in it's nature as it currently is. Also I don't buy this whole "without suffering there's won't be a pleasure". Like, do you realise how many creatures and people had lives that consisted of NOTHING but suffering? I believe there could be the opposite - the life with only positive/pleasing experiences, and even if there's none - I'll make sure to create it. I believe removal of that concept is gonna just remove problematic desires of humanity and they won't have any needs that could potentially harm anyone else and which can also hurt them, if they are not satisfied. It will just reshape the world in a way, most of us can't currently comprehend, but that would be for the better in the long run. By removing this concept, you're not killing anyone - you remove the need for someone to be hurt, you remove the enforcement that life brings by it's own rules, you remove problematic/harmful aspects of it and it's creatures and etc

But even if it could cause some issues, I might just settle for removal of discrimination
