Shiki is situationally incredible. He can be a bully vs Roger Pirates because of his trait.
Though personally I've never had issues with him. Or anyone when playing Roger- he feels like one of those characters that can balance any unit with sheer might.

Anyways, do you guy's think Treasure Cruise will actually pull off Gear 5th well, or will it flop it like Dokkan did Beast Gohan?

For context, DBZ Dokkan Battle released DBS Super Hero Ultimate Gohan and Ultimate Piccolo and people were hyped since that meant Beast Gohan had made it to the game, but instead of making him a proper transformation with multiple dope attacks, they instead made him an offensive active skill (which means Gohan goes Beast mode, does his special attack, then returns back to Ultimate), which can only be used once in a fight after fulfilling special conditions. And even then, he did subpar damage compared to some older units. I'm still salty lol.

I'm shocked they haven't already. Treasure cruise sometimes releases units after the manga but they've been waiting for the anime lately, likely because of how big the reveal is gonna be

They're probably waiting for it to appear in the anime.

I'm still a little sad that the Film Red Luffy's special attack isn't him turning Gear 5th, but I understand that they didn't want to spoil it yet.

Yeah that's why I believe they're waiting for the anime at this point.

To be completely honest because One Piece's next episode is gonna include the sky split I'm lowkey expecting another EX Luffy with ACOC (Red Roc skill / Gear 4 skill).
 
God imagine whenever the animations of the special attacks (whatever they're called) reach the level of Dokkan's animations, where they're basically recreating the anime/film scenes one-to-one. The closest imo is Zoro's Rengoku Onigiri.

Imagine this for Treasure Cruise:

Like, imagine using Film Red Luffy and activating his special attack, and then getting to see a high quality recreation of the final attack in Film Red.

To be honest I don't play treasure cruise but bounty rush hasn't disappointed me with any units.
I expect Gear 5 to play stupid as hell. Probably OP as hell too. Imagine a trait where he revives with increased crits if his health is down to 0 (like EX Zoro's recovery but much better)
And maybe switches from runner to attacker.
Attacker Gear 5 has the gatling attack (the one where he put like 5 rubber dents in kaido) and dawn rocket switches him to runner with a goofy tornado spin animation.


Either that or they pull a Yamato/Oden with him and have him absorb blows when capturing.

Probably won't happen unless it's Oni Luffy without the cape since I don't think they do clones of characters with the exact same outfit.

Well, maybe the last one then. If you want a more subtle and calm background, then definitely the new one you sent, but it's up to your preference.

The second and third aren't bad either, just personally I prefer first or last.
